Gave this song another listen after buying it off of itunes. Pretty good song.

Looks like they just recorded a little promo for it. Great sounding clip off of youtube.
Mike has dropped quite a few lb's. Looks like he's ready to rock.

Do they have a new album coming? Just Getting Started was one of the strongest efforts of the decade in AOR.

Yeah, I posted a link to that a couple of months ago, but was given a lot of shit for liking it so much.

I think Reno has basically stated he wants to record a few tracks at a time and release them on iTunes and the like, but the days of the band recording a whole record in the studio are gone.

Good song. Not as strong as material off Just Getting Started but a fun song. Shame to hear they don't plan on recording any more full length albums. As I said above, JGS was GREAT!

Was that Bob Rock in the video?

Interesting... the main guitar melody reminds me of Neal Schon.

Mike Reno has dropped alot of weight recently. I often wonder if he didn't get so fat maybe the band wouldn't have fallen out of public view. Albums like "Wildside" and "Just Getting Started" show a band unafraid to update their style without sacrificing their sound.

I've wondered that also. He didn't start really chunking out til the late 80's. Their style of music was destined to take a 10 year break anyway, no matter what his weight. May have had an impact on their draw with the chicks at live shows though.

Outside of the horrible "six", you're right. I think they've learned their lesson from that, can't wait for more new stuff from them.

Not really familiar w/ Reno or Loverboy's early looks too much, but I just looked up the Working for the Weekend video. Reno looks like even back then, he had that "skinny fat" thing going on where they're skinny everywhere, but if you look close, you can see the gut forming. Still amazing how massive he got.
