Not sure about the 505, but KMA must be Kia Motors America.

That ad might actually be cooler than the new Resonate video.

Ditto.......easily my favorite song of theirs!

My little brother is a big Crue fan........and him and 2 other buddies are going to Vegas this weekend for the start of a 12 show Vegas Crue stint at the Hard Rock. LOL, last time they did a Vegas concert weekend he ended up meeting Vince and getting a tattoo at his shop. :o So who knows what kind of debauchery they're going to get into this time.

Or, 'Kiss My Ass', no? (Either from KIA to their comp, or just a direct sexual ref from the VS chick.)

Seriously though, there's long been a history in advertising to include subtle details...either an inside industry play, or a subliminal meaning. Shade-tree psychology tells me that this probably does more for marketing than a direct ad. And the coolest thing, if not the very purpose, is that people don't realize that subtle details have a great impact on consumer psyche.

For example, someone just wrote that "The stands were full of women in bikinis.", when maybe it was just the front row, and the rest were all just CG. And maybe using a white car was to imply that an average dude in this car has many more horses (under the hood & charismaticly) than just the fairy tale pretty boy with only one horse. In fact, ave guy is on a NASCAR track, powered-by the bad-boy image & high-octane of Motley Crue. And using the checkered flag kinda says it all...

Totally love Mötley Crüe, and dig the ad... but I will never buy a Kia. Advertising targets sheep because they fall for the bullshit. I'm just not wired for that.
