New Styx CD

What are your expectations for the next Styx album of all new music? Is there any possibility that Glen Burtnik would contribute a song or two, or even play on the album? Will it rock more or less than Cyclorama? Will there be a ballad or Yes I Can type song on it?

I think Glen is done with Styx to be honest
I don't expect a new cd from Styx for a few years
They are over exposed

I don't think Glen will be involved anymore with Styx.

Yes, I'm sure they're going to add some type of ballad, they'll need a song for radio play and looking at the past, it usually worked for them.

I would think they would gear some of their music for radio play. I'm not sure how, but they'll need something for their next cd to climb the charts a little higher.

I would give a release date of February 2007

Just my opinion.

I also see Glen as part of Styx' past.

I would think the next cd might lean a bit heavier than cyclorama and be closer musically to the stuff we heard on Big Bang.

There will probably be a ballad on it. With that said, they never release "Yes I Can" and I thought that would have hit Top 10 in the Adult Contemporary charts.

I think you'll see them take more of the fall and winter off with spiratic weekend dates to keep the never ending tour going.

I think they already have the groundwork started for the next album.

2-3 songs will be geared for radio. But maybe not the pop charts. Although one song probably will be. Larry will take the lead in the pop charts song.

New CD will be out Summer/Fall of 2006

Just my opinion

I just hope they leave the 'guests' off.
No accapellas or such stuff.
Just fresh and crisp songs ala 'These are the times'.
It would be nice with some group compositions.

I predict 2-3 cover songs on the album.
This way they can hope to repeat some of the success of BBT.
