Were this picture was taken, Bay St. Louis sits up on a hill about 30 feet above the water. This is the old down town area. Rest of BSL slopes down on all sides to about 5 to 10 feet in parts. All of BSL was underwater , except for the downtown area. This wave ended that. Parts of BSL was under 20 ft of water, with waves on top of that. I read the other day, that Katrina maybe reclassified, down grade, as a Cat 3 when it hit MS. Even thou it was the worst storm, strength wise to hit the Gulf.-ERIC
