Why hasn't Falling In Between been released in the US?

This is probably common knowledge to the board members here, but I haven't heard.
With this album getting such great reviews, why isn't it released here?

Probably because there isn't much of a market here for that kind of music so the band is hoping the word spreads first.

Wow, I would of thought it was released in the States already, but I guess not. The first song on the album keeps running through my head everyday, its like a never ending tune.

Yeah, well the problem is, I'm a big Toto fan and I'm not going to pay $30.00 to buy the import.

What happens is, the album becomes available on the Russian mp3 websites and fans in the States download the entire album for a buck or two.

When it's finally released in the states, most of the fans have already acquired it, in mp3 form.

I know that Toto doesn't have a huge fan base in the states anymore, but why not release it when it's released to the rest of the world? The small, but loyal;, fanbase will be more than happy to spend fifteen bucks to obtain it.

Good point - but then I have to ask, which $15.00 cd's are you buying these days in the states, that are actually worth the money spent? Ten tracks (not counting Reefer Man), and none-of-'em suck.

Personally, the last 5 cds's I have picked up have come from Japan (buying via CD Japan). Of course, the bulk of them have been hard to find AOR re-issues, or eclectic Japanese fusion cds . . .

BTW, the entire album is available for download from their site, legally. High quality 320 kbs mp3's too.

As far an actual CD,...I'm sure it will be here eventually . . .

Also, I found it annoying...when it was first released by Frontiers, you had to buy at least two cds if you ordered via the website... the second cd..by some unknown (or likely unknown) band or performer...same thing when they released 'Generations' / Journey...

The Japanese cd purchase was the obvious purchase for me....

I bought my copy from amazon.co.uk soon after the release date and had it within 6 days or so (which is faster postage to Aus than I ever get from Amazon US) postage cost wasnt obscene either..

After hearing the bonus track, I think I can live without the Japanese Import :)
Regards,
Jim.
