Hey everyone,
I notice some people from the,now defunct Styxnet board made it here. I WAS Texx151 on there...don't know if any remember, it's been so long.
Even if I'm not remembered...HELLO AGAIN TO EVERYONE.

Hey Angie...
Texas is ok...getting hotter as we speak.lol
I haven't really kept up with the Styxboards since Styxnet went down. I knew Glen HAD a site..just didn't know it had a board. Oh well, live and learn. lol
I've been lurking on this site for a while looking at the Styx and Journey boards, hadn't had time to actually REGISTER and post until today.
Good to see you again.

On a side note...GREAT SITE ANDREW and thanx for the message boards. :-)

Just so you know, Glen's message board and the Styx message board are two different things, even though the Styx link I gave you said glenburtnik. I believe Paul has them on the same server, but they are two different places. Glad you're back on!

I appreciate the welcome AND the link. I'm Texx151 again over there @ styxland.
I saw the "Bands that you hate" thread...HOW CAN YOU HATE BOSTON?????? (I kinda understand the overplayed 1st album) But REALLY???? lol
On The up side...at least you're still a Rush fan. Good news on that front...looks like they're in or going into the studio this year and touring by late 06 early 07. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP

Hi Liam and welcome. :)

I love Rush too. It looks like Rush is all set for the World Tour in 2007, from what I read.

I'm over at the Styxnet board too. I'm SuiteMadameBlue, I know, real original - LOL

Hi Suite,
I just tried to post in the Welcome section on Styxland, to no avail. I'll try again later. (I Hate dial up.lol)
Anyway, I'm PRAYING for this Rush tour. It's already a great concert season (Eric Johnson/Joe Satriani, Sammy Hagar, Journey/Def Leppard, Goo Goo Dolls) and Rush would just top it off. Can't wait too see what direction they go in on the next (Hopfully not FINAL) album.
On to Styx..Hope THEY get back to the Houston area (Dennis also). Not looking good this year though. Saw Styx in Beaumont at a bar in April last year. Good show. I was right up front and I think Lawrence, Ricky, and JY were rather suprised that I knew every single lyric. Especially the Cyclomedley. lol

Hi Liam :)

There will be a Rush tour, I think it's the 2112 tour or something like that.

I'm hoping that Journey/Def Leppard comes closer to my house. I'm looking forward to seeing quite a few concerts this summer :)

Dial-Up? What a bummer. I don't think I could live with dial-up anymore, no offense! UGH

Welcome back to the boards, this one and the other(s). I guess since I last saw you post, I was DJMike. Now I am "Former" DJMike since I left the biz...

BY the way, Angie, I haven't gone in to voice track since Feb. I have no plans on ever going back... Wonder if they have figured it out yet???

One weekend I went in and they changed the locks on the door. I had to knock on the windows until someone let me in. Every time someone gets fired they change the locks on the door (they do this about 3-4 times a year!). They failed to leave me a new key. Anyway, that same day I heard the GM (which was hired after I left full time) cussing someone up and down. After the good chewing I told the guy "Don't let him talk to you like that!"... I guess being in an entirely different field of work now I am less likely to put up with BS from people above me. I understand messing up and them getting upset but no one is going to cuss me like a dog anymore.... I am protected by the Union now and they will not tolerate that type of behavior I saw so much in the radio industry...

ANYWAYZ.... Welcome back Liam!

You mean, you just haven't shown up? lol! That's funny. I'm pretty lucky, even when I've screwed up(which is VERY rare 8) )I've got some pretty cool, understanding bosses, that will lay it on the line, but I've NEVER been yelled or cussed at. Sounds like just as asshole for a boss!
