Styx & Deep Purple

I just read in Classic Rock Magazine that Styx will be touring the U.K. as the special guests of Deep Purple in April/May 2007.

Fortunately, got to see Styx in the Uk last year so won`t be wasting money on a special guest/support slot/mini set.

Does Styx of late, play headliners or joint billing in the US?

I'm booked up for Glasgow. I saw the band in Germany last year, but I'm still stoked to see them again. Doors open fairly early, so I'm hoping they may be given more time than the usual special guest spot.

Not too sure if Styx and DP are a great match, but I dig both bands, so I won't complain too much.

I did nothing. I did absolutely nothing, and it was everything I thought it could be.

Mostly Headlining right now. They do team up occasionally as co-headling. The usual Co-Headliner is REO Speedwagon, however, they do have quite a few dates with Foreigner through the end of the year. Neither is a co-headlining tour.

Todd said the dates with Deep Purple are going to give them a 60 to 70 minute set. Which means similar to the Main Event type of set.
