I didn't mind hearing Babe in Calgary honestly, but the moment was ruined just at the end when he does "oooooohhhh Babe" when some drunk idiot screams out "BABE ROCKS LIKE A M*THERF*CKER"..

But no worries, I'm sure Dennis heard him, cause during his "When I'm at home I'm an A**hole.. looks at the drunk guy and says "Just like you sir".. He wasn't really laughing about it either...

That's hilarious! I would have cracked up.

This is actually kinda tough...even with Styx songs I dislike, there is usually some redeeming feature (a riff, a melody, a groove, a turn of phrase) that makes listening to them worthwhile. Guess I wouldn't be a fan otherwise.

Nevertheless, if I had to choose a bottom 10:

Father OSA
Plexiglass Toilet
Superstars
First Time
She Cares
Homewrecker
High Crimes & Misdemeanors
Goodbye To Roseland
Yes I Can
Fields Of The Brave

"A Song For Suzanne" just barely escapes being in place of "Plexiglass Toilet" because I like the cello & rain at the beginning.

I deliberately left out anything from Big Bang Theory, since A) it's not their music, specifically, and B) I really haven't listened to it enough to form much of a solid opinion. Should also note that there's an awful lot of the Wooden Nickel stuff that, while it doesn't actively bug me as much as these tunes, doesn't make much of a positive impression either. Just goes in one ear and out the other.

'Fraid so. Cloying lyrics, bland music, go-nowhere arrangement. Not in the same ballpark/league/sport as "Pieces Of Eight," IMO.

Quick Is The Beat Of My Heart
Right Away (even the band hated it)
Plexiglass Toilet
Put Me On ( the premise that the record itself is singing is stupid to me, plus those harmonies sound like the Bugaloos to me)
Carrie Ann
Homewrecker
High Crimes and Misdemeanors (really a solo track, essentially)
Just Fell In
Bourgeois Pig (Thornton's ridiculously bad guest vocal is the worst performance ever to appear on a Styx record, IMO)
Summer In The City (the worst of a pretty bad record IMO)
High Crimes
Great Expectations

I still really like that song as a piece of writing, though it's certainly not a Styx-sounding tune

Krakatoa
Plexiglass Toilet
First Time
Manic Depression cover

I'm actually with you on that one, it blows!

Music Time
Carrie Ann
What Have They Done to You
Grove of Eglantine (shudder)
[/quote

"Grove of Eglantine" was what it was . . . just Dennis trying on an identity that didn't really fit. It's okay, but certainly not classic Styx, as even Dennis would gladly admit

That's an alternate for me as well

Plexiglass Toilet
Eddie
Brave New World (Reprise)

I don't even consider that a song, per se, lol

High Crimes and Misdemeanors
Krakatoa
Bourgeois Pig
Tie: Best New Face/I Will Be Your Witness

EDIT: Close runners up from BBT, and a few more.

I kinda like "Witness, but totally agree with the others, and there are many more! LOL
