HALF PENNY / TWO PENNY

We have many posters here from the GREAT state of Wisconsin. Growing up in Minnesota I always knew it was the GREATEST of States. It was awesome to be in high school slip across the border( St. Croix) and be of legal drinking age at 17. This state and its politicians were always 1 step ahead of the other 49.

Today they proved it once more. State Representative Frank Lasee(Green Bay) is 1 step ahead of the curve. He has come up with the brilliant idea of arming our teachers, & administrators at schools across Wisconsin. AWESOME idea!!! I only hope the rest of the country buys into his way of thinking.

Everyone knows ALL teachers hold the highest standards. My mind now shifts to that blonde babe teacher that was every junior high boys fantasy. If she was only packing!! Mary Kay, she deserves a semi automatic.

Does this apply to substitute teachers? How about that fine outstanding substituite teacher that claimed to be with Jean Bonet. If we only allowed him to pack heat. Janitors???, Cafeteria workers???

Personally I think we ought to go one step further. If you are 18 and have a clean record, you can pack ANYWHERE!!! Airports, on a plane, Churches, Movie Theatres, Resturants, ('this food sucks, bring me something different or else......), Malls, Sporting events( how can you miss that free throw.......BANG!!!!!,' sit down you MF I payed 200 dollars for these seats'......... Bang!!!!, Concerts, ( 'damn them for not playing my favorite song, instead they play some new Christmas shit'.......BANG!!!!!!!!) ( 'I'll show that replacement singer'.......... Bang). Nothing wrong with Axl Rose packing at a upcoming GNR concert is there????

'Over here buddy, purchase this Smith & Wesson and I will throw in Dennis's New Sparky Baseball Concert T shirt'.

It should be our right as Americans. Thank you Wisconsin for pointing this out. JY said it first and best.

'WE ALL KNOW IT'S THE AMERICAN WAY'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unreal.. But why doesn't this surprise me? I'm sure those teachers that are in the NRA are thrilled!

I guess on the bright side it would mean LESS classroom discipline..

Like Dennis Leary says "I don't spank my kids.. Waving the gun around pretty much does it for me"

Do your homework or ELSE has an all new meaning!

But as an educator (okay, a babysitter with a Bachelor of Education Degree) I'm appaulled by this, especially in the wake of the school shootings in PA and CO.

Kind of glad that I'm THIS side of the 49th!

Hey I'm from Wisconsin

All guns scare me. No matter who has the gun, it just takes the wrong person to use it.

Not a good idea, IMO.

As a teacher myself, this idea of putting guns in the classroom is absolutely ridiculous. Just another over reaction to what is a concentrated number of similar events during a short period of time. Way too many things can go wrong. They would be smarter to have police officers on every school campus/building and pay for that or even if schools were required to have a working phone in every room that could call in the case of an emergency. THe phone thing sounds a like a no brainer, but many schools are hardpressed to have one in every classroom believe it or not?
