I was watching Return To Paradise DVD for the 10th time yesterday and I was thinking I want Dennis back. It wouldn't be such a bad thing like I have said before. Gowan, could do another solo record (which he was writing for until styx got in the way) And original STYX could do a GI 30th aniversary tour and another album and life would be good....

But, if they don't (they most likely will not) I will still support both.

I don't think there has been any promotion of the CD or DVD here in Canada, so the fact that they have sold any is close to a miracle. As Jodes said, the stores don't even have them, for the most part, so only people who are Styx fans who follow the band regardless of the lack of promotion are buying the merchandise, most probably. My husband got me the CD for Christmas as I asked, and I had also asked for the DVD. I had seen it once, but was waiting for him to get it for me, and when he couldn't find it, I went looking, but there hasn't been anything. I will probably order online when I get back from vacation, unless Jodes can point me in the right direction before then.

Stores are carrying fewer CDs now. I went looking for other CDs two days after Christmas when they weren't in my stocking and staff told me that they had been sent back to the record companies already! They didn't even wait for the after-Christmas shoppers to buy them!

Perhaps Styx should be releasing these things on vinyl again. Many of the 20-somethings I know are buying records instead of CDs.
With every act of love, the good catches up...
