I really like the cover for the album. Unlike his other solo albums, this one has that album rock feel to it, instead of just a picture of Dennis. I like that a lot better and hope it follows suit in the musical content, but who knows? I guess we'll see.
It IS good news that there will be an English-only version of the title song. Can't say I cared for the half-French thing a lot, since I didn't know what the hell it meant, LOL. Plus I don't dig that other guy's voice at all, but probably the English only version will have just Dennis.

Depends upon what you want. The import will have the French/English version of "100 Years From Now." The US version, to be released later, will have the English-only version of that song.

Sounds like, from his note, all the other tracks are the same on both the US version and Canadian version.

It's only a damn cover but I will admit this...at least I don't have to look at him. I will make a judgement on this CD when I hear it. He may surprise me and I will really like it but something tells me it will fall short of what I would call good music from him. I'm not only saying this about DDY...Styx has it's work cut out to create something good also. Give me some interesting and different music...not the same old schlock.

I am not crazy about the artwork. It's a very nice painting. I can see a correlation between empty merry go round seats and where will our children be in 100 years? Maybe if a photoshop wizard darkened it up a bit without going over board. Savage looking horse faces with big teeth. Dark skies. Trash blowing around in the wind. A dilapidated baby doll laying on the ground. The big question?

Oh and change the type face. Looks like a carnival. This is serious stuff.

I doubt that "freaky dystopia" is the vibe they were going for. Artistically, DDY's usually a more hopeful guy than that.

To me, the painting evokes a sense of nostalgic melancholy, with the one horse having escaped from the treadmill nature of the ride as a symbol of non-conformity, achieving independence, or what have you. Maybe that relates to breaking the cycle of violence which is the subject of the title track...

...or maybe someone just thought the moonlit snow was pretty. Who can say?

All is forgiven! And your reply did not suck, but Dennis did talk at length about it in his letter. Plus the picture of Sparky is great.

I remember wondering what the hell he yelled during the instrumental break in "Rocking the Paradise" for a long time.
