Where's the vid?

Postby brywool » Tue Jul 17, 2007 7:11 am

Hey, so I know there's a new video that Tommy put together for one of the newer tracks. I STILL haven't seen it.
Anybody know where to see it?
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

In JY's recent interview he indicates that Tommy made the video himself on his Mac. While its nice for a home video, you can clearly tell this is not very professional.

Not professional but very cool. I love it.

Cool, thanks. Did he also do the Walrus vid? THAT was a good video. This one was okay. He should've spliced in some footage from the CYO performance of them doing it too, but AT LEAST there's a video for it. Somewhere.
It's probably not on YouTube because it's a loop exclusive, which is pretty cool of them to do for the band.
The site says that the Loop is playing the song.
Any Chicago-ans back that up? They sure the hell don't play it in Seattle. We'd just rather play the same crap every day that
we've heard forever...
I swear Seattle radio has GOT to be the worst.

I think a video for Just Be would be sweet. Notice that most of Styx music videos were either live stuff (i.e. Babe, Best of Times, Come Sail Away, Boat on the River) but i liked the videos they had for Edge like Love is the Ritual and Love at First Sight and Show me the way. The way they did the videos then matched the era of music videos for the early 90's.

Walrus was done by Gary Loizzo while the guys were in England. They would shoot the footage then send it to Gary and Gary would tell them if they needed more. Gary added all the pics and clipart around the footage. Notice that the chick that is crying is the same one that is in the opening of Desperate Housewives....must be non licensed clip art.
