What can I expect from the Wildhorse show?

On Styx's website it says, "An Evening With Styx"

Does this have any significance at all? Anyone have a clue on how long they'll play?

One last question (mainly for Sterling ) What will the $60 dollar seats be like? I have already ordered them and they say general admission. Should I get there about 30 minutes before they open to get decent seats? How close will I be?

"General admission" means, in this case, "fight your way through the crowd to get as close as you can". The Wildhorse has a floor with tables, which are assigned seats, and then three tiers of balconies. The balconies also have tables right up gainst the rail, and then standing room only from there. There's really not a BAD seat in there, per se, but still, if you get there early you might be better off. Me? I'm just gonna bring a small, easily-concealed knife. Usually if you're willing to cut a couple of people, you can get right near the rail, LOL.

Back in the early days of the Gowan era, the Evening with Styx shows were sort of in the format of VH1's 'Storytellers'. They would have at least a portion of it that was an acoustic set where they played some rarities and slower stuff in a very loose atmosphere. That would be cool if that's what this is, so long as they don't play "Best of Times" in this lineup ever again, LOL. That came off horribly as an acoustic version.

I'm looking forward to this. I saw America at the Wildhorse and it was absolutely killer.
