But, it's THE GRAND ILLUSION!!!!  :D

My sister has the "Edge Of The Century" album cover, signed by J.Y. and Glen. She was gonna take it to the next Styx concert we're going to cause she still wants Tommy and Chuck's autograph and I told her, "You can't have Tommy sign that!" And she asks "Why?" and I told her cause he wasn't in the band when they made that album! :?
The autographs are what matter to her but, she still made the decision to just have Tommy sign something else. IF she gets the chance to even get his autograph.
It is true though, that whoever is buying that poster is the one to make the decision about it. I might be interested in buying it but, doubt I'd pay a LOT for it. I never understood people buying autographs they didn't get themselves, anyway. To each his own, I guess.

So, you went to a Plant/Page show with a plant solo album only (because, let's face it, who wouldn't do the same?), or you just happened to be walking around with a Plant solo album and bumped into the two of them? ;-)

Well Zan.Thank you for asking.
It was a Plant show and Pagey made a surprise guest appearance.
I got the autograps in the all you can eat buffet, where indeed I did bump into them.
I all of a sudden remember some more of my dream.Stmonkeys were there and had just polished of a tray of pickled eggs and downed 6 pint of Guinness.

Well, it makes more sense than buying autographs they did get themselves. ;-)

But...I'm with ya on this one. I mean, MAYBE in the case of someone like say, John Lennon, would I consider buying something that was autographed, and even then, I don't think I'd do it.

Thank you for the validation. 8) :P I only met one known person and that was Chuck at the Mall Of America. I got his autograph but, it's not just the autograph. It includes the memory of meeting him, shaking his hand. AND he told me Happy Birthday! :D :D 8) My birthday was gonna be on that Friday. He mentioned him and John would be 59 on the 20th. Or the 22? Anyway, it was the whole experience that was important. IMHO. :)

It's the picture of the album cover. Definitely not the same thing.

You're splitting hairs.

I guess if Bon Jovi signed it, that would make sense too.
