Time to take some time off...

Only my opinion, but I think that Styx needs to take some time off. JY needs some time to be with his ailing wife - it's stupid for them to go on as a 4 piece band. Todd has other things that are going to prohibit him from touring for a few shows. So, what happens if both Todd and JY miss a show? At what point does this thing get so ridiculous that they hurt their "brand" even more than they have done to date. Take 6 months off, regroup, and come back fresh next spring.

I agree - it seems like they've been touring non-stop for so long. They already have dates scheduled into November, though, and I don't think they want to cancel any.

Maybe they will stop after November and give it a 6 month break.

I think they actually need to take even longer time off, more like 2 years, then come back with a new album and tour.

Coming up they have a month off between October 11th and November 13th. They love what they do and they make a nice living so why should they take time off? It's JY's choice to fly to and from each show while his wife is recovering. That's a personal choice, much like Dennis deciding to take time off for his ordeal. Dennis just decided he couldn't leave the house. So be it.
