Strange story. I didn't know he was a meth user. That being said, when I saw him at the KISS convention in Jersey back in '98, he looked like he's been living REALLY hard for a long time. He was unrecognizable as the person from fifteen years earlier. If someone hadn't told me who he was, I never would've know it was him.

Very true...I met Mark back in 99 and it was apparent then. He was as nice as can be and I even spoke with him online a few times...But to look at him when talking to him, you could see it.

Very sad.

An old friend of mine kept in touch with him on a daily basis and had the chance to meet Gene and Paul and Gene was all like "OMG...You have talked to Mark?? How is he" ) That's not the actual quote, but you get the idea.
