Questions for Queensryche, Styx for We Will Rock You show

Postby Rockwriter » Wed Jun 03, 2009 8:13 am

Hello all:

I can now confirm that Queensryche vocalist Geoff Tate is the first guest for my We Will Rock You show. If anyone here has any questions you'd like to ask Geoff, post them here or email them to me at sterlingwit@aol.com and if I read your question I will also announce your name. Any questions for Geoff need to be received by tomorrow morning please.

In other news, I don't know if it will be the second or third show - whenever we can slot it into their crazy schedule - but it looks like I'll be interviewing Todd Sucherman and Lawrence Gowan from Styx coming right up, so if you have any questions for those guys, bring 'em on!

More guests to announce soon, and some promotions too.

Thanks, I hope everyone is well.

It's a new online talk radio show featuring my interviews with rock music personalities. More details soon about where to find it.

Thanks, hope all is well.

Ask him about his inspiration for the latest album, American Soldier - and how he managed to balance the potential political nature of the topic and yet still produce a really powerful introspective on the life of an American Soldier.

And also make sure to tell him that we want QR back at the Ryman in Nashville! They blew the roof off that place two years in a row.

Sterling,

Just being a fan here, but Empire is still one of the albums I listen to from my college days that I still listen to frequently. On top of that, unlike many albums of that era, it still sounds fresh. Tell him to get to Charlotte soon.

Playing with Limp Bisquit and Saga in Romania and Bulgaria(in the near future),how did that come about?
Have you played with those guys before?
Will there be an 'Operation Mindcrime 3" ?
Do you like bangers and mash?
Jesus loves you ,but everybody else thinks you're a knob.

Geoff and I had the same vocal teacher. Ask him when David Kyle passed away. Doesn't have to be part of the interview though...
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Ask Leisure Suit Larry and Todd if they've ever received a legal letter from JY and if so, what did he threaten to sue them for?

Hmmm . . . I kinda doubt that he's threatened to sue them. That part doesn't come until later, when you're no longer in the band! LOL.

(Just to clarify, I am only kidding . . .)

I was kidding too, for the record :) Of course I don't expect you to ask that. I'm just a little warm under the collar for some remarks people feel compelled to make about people I consider friends. Remarks so old and stupid it begs a response.

Not funny. I do not take prozac, but I take other medication, and no - I didn't lose it. If people can attack people I consider to be my friends, then you better be able to take whatever you dish out. That's just my opinion. Yeah I'm a little warm about for the first time in a few years. Just stupid to keep calling people names over how they look. Just stupid.

Different board, different person. Totally irrelevant to the subject and completely misdirected.

And it really wasn't meant to be funny, so I guess I made my point.
