Great dvd. I wish you could hear the orchestra in some spots better than you can, but I really liked it. The fact that it was a youth orchestra made it pretty fun.

Feel sorry for the kid who blue the beginning of Just Be. That's probably why the studio versions on the album and not the live.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

I saw this show on Comcast on Demand
Horrific is all I can say
What is the orchestra about 200 teenagers?
The lady conductor needs to by some clothes she looks horrible.
You can see just how misdirected Styx is.
First they say they are a rock band when Dennis does symph shows then they try to copy his show and they faild big time.
Its almost like they are making a mockery of there own music.
Sad band with no direction at all.

Have to agree with you on some points here Froy.
The lady conductor did need to present herself better.
And following in DDY's footsteps, when they are trying to get away from DDY.
BUT
I did like the show, I don't think Styx was trying to add another side to the songs, like DDY' shows have done. I think Styx was trying to Rock out more with this symphony and chior. I find it one of the few concerts from anyone that I can sit down and watch from start to finish. Most of time I turn the tv off and just listen to the shows.

Yes Froy, its made up of young kids.. Hence the name "Contemporary Youth Orchestra".

But I would still say the kids did a good job..
