You shoulda let us know you were coming in the roll call thread man! Woulda been great to meet up.

As for the staff, they always do that there... quite annoying. I had backstage passes for Todd Rundgren there a couple years ago and even after I showed them my passes while waiting for the backstage doors to open they fucking hassled me and my uncle and interrogated us and basically embarrassed us by asking Todd's road manager when he came out if he knew us. Fucking bullshit.

Yeah, don't think I saw the roll call thread this time. I try to go to the Cleveland shows as much as possible. I'm usually one of the only tall guys with long hair that show up actually, which is a real shame for a rock show when you think about it, so I'm pretty hard to miss. Guarantee many of you have seen me before, there is a huge height differential between my girlfriend and I as well, lol.

Well, for sure next time.

Where were you at udring the show? We were up front on Stephen's side near the railing that leads to the doors backstage.

LOL I was right there. On the floor, not in the balcony if that makes a difference.

Nope, actually had my hair down most of the show, which is a rarity, I'm pretty sure hat was off most of the time too. I shoulda wore the Slayer shirt like I was originally going to, just to not fit in as much as possible. Hell, I probably could've just worn the Walmart Frontiers shirt and still stuck out. It was waaay too "at the club" dressed up in there for a rock show, LOL.

I just wish Pittsburgh's concert scene for the smaller shows was better these days, too many people with bad taste in music 'round these parts anymore, it's quite disgusting, really.

Cleveland definitely owns Pittsburgh for musical taste, that's one thing I learned going to school in NW PA. My old college bud was actually up from Peters Township too and he was bemoaning the same thing on his way outta the show.

Even when I go to see lesser-known metal bands in Cleveland, there's ALWAYS a really decent turnout. In Pittsburgh, it's pathetic. Really makes me want to leave the area, and I used to be it's biggest defender. Too many ignorant yinzer douchers ruining life here for me on a daily basis.

All those bands are complete shit, yet I think I may come anyway, just to get PDX wasted and smack her ass. And if I do come, we are getting around Andrew's face when he sleeps and whipping our Johnson's out for a few pictorials. He will love that.

LOL Eden's Cry, Talons of Thorns, Far Crown, etc etc...Jesus God.

Too much of a flavor of the week mentality here anymore, whatever's huge and popular at the time sells like crazy, and the bandwagon posers are maddening. Right now around here we have a huge fake redneck problem, people who have obviously lived here there whole lives and whenever the pop country craze hit a few years ago suddenly started talking with bad southern accents and wearing cowboy hats wherever they go, shit like that. And, don't even get me started on the thug wannabe crap that's been a huge problem here since my sophomore-junior year of high school. And the pop punk/fakepunk/emo/scener crap... just UGH. I wish I could say it was because of eclectic music taste. Maybe it's bad eclectic poserism? The underground scene here has its moments, but honestly not very often. Just... I dunno... boring. Very bad rock scene anymore, well unless you're into the new rock alternative oversimplified stale radio crap, they tend to eat that up around here. Very disgruntled with the whole concert scene I guess. Oddly enough though, we do have some really good local rock bands, but they're very few and far between.

And I really have no other basis to judge Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh other than concerts, btw... they're the only reason I ever travel up there.
