The CMN telethon performance - question?

Postby BRETT5150 » Sat Dec 25, 2010 9:17 pm

Is the CMN telethon performance from 1999 their last seen show with Dee Young, whether its a tv performance or bootleg? Is their any bootleg recordings in existance?
On a side note, the CMN performance was amazing. Dee Young still had great chemistry with the boys. Its a shame it all blew up.
What is understood need not be discussed

You can get most of the show on you tube. It's out there, you just need to look.

Was Dennis' delay on "BCM" due to a sound problem? Has this ever been discussed?

Whatever the case, I can't imgine being in his shoes that night.

It was probably just a mistake. Dennis and gary were not speaking to each other so that didn't help either.

Well, I know Todd said he had such audio problems with his in-ear monitors that night that he played the entire show only able to hear drums, without being able to hear any other instruments or vocals at all. So it's not beyond the realm of possibility that Dennis might have had serious audio problems as well. That was hardly the easiest, most fun night the band has ever had, LOL. I'm surprised they got through it at all.

By the way, does anyone have the set list in order? Would like to know what order they played the songs for the CMN show.

These guys are such professionals that to the eye of the average audience, unaware of the huge rift in the band, they sounded great and seemed to be working as a unit.

Knowing what he knew, I really can't imagine how Dennis managed to hold it together that last time. I thought he sounded amazing and who the *#@! cares if there were some minor glitches in places.

All of them did a good deed that one last time even though, I am sure, they did not want to be there. It was a historic final concert, to be sure.
