Joe I've backed WAY off Frankie for a long time.

I do think we have some legit gripes about his continued promises of tunes since 2006 w/ out delivering.

Maybe this litigation has slowed down work now but I still don't understand what's going on prior to '10.

I think the biggest story of this lawsuit is Stephen Ellis is alive! I didn't think anyone knew where he was. Glad he's ok.

Legit question, how much are Jamison and Ellis entitled to? They really didn't write any of the songs. I know they get paid for playing on the songs, but is that really that much (relatively speaking)? How much is the lawsuit worth - I'm only asking as it is somewhat public record (although I haven't seen a dollar amount)? Even if they win, won't most of the winnings go to lawyers? Bottom line, is this worth the money?

I think back around 2000, Ellis guested on a David Glen Eisley solo album.

And I'm thinking that maybe Ellis might have also been on a Craig Goldy solo album too? But I'm not sure.

Right but they were promised things and entered into written, hell even oral contracts accordingly, there could be some merit.

Shocked how much stock those guys claim to have been offered given the main writing battery was Sullivan/Peterik.

Stop bitching about FS and Survivor not releasing music and get out there, get some contact info and bomb the hell out of their phones, emails..etc to let them know you want new music. NOTHING is going to get done when you all are sitting here whining like little kids. The music industry is a hard cruel battlefield but without the support of fans then there is no point.

I can't see any possible reaction to what you are proposing to do. I mean, it has already been done when the official Survivor board opened again some years ago, and I guess even now that there's a new official site I'm sure people is using the Q&A section, but they just dont reply to that.
So there's no use, simply because the band, right now, is out of the market and is safe just where it is. By the way, the remasteres are out, so they should well know that there's still interest in their music, right?

Well, that's somewhat what I'm trying to do with my "Jim, Jimi and Dave" thread.

I had Sullivan's phone number years ago. I only called his home once, and I got his answering machine. I have no idea if he still has the same number or not? But either way, I'm not going to call his house again. And I've never given the number to anyone else.

My source for Sullivan's number also could have given me Peterik's number. But he likes Peterik, and thinks that Sullivan is a total asshole. He didn't want to have Peterik be bothered at home, so he didn't really want to give me his number. But he didn't care if I prank called Sullivan all night long night after night.

But, even if he had given me Peterik's number, I would have never called him more than once, unless Peterik himself said that it would be OK to call again sometime.

Whether I like someone or not, (And I do like Peterik) I'm not the type of person to keep bothering someone, and I try to respect peoples right to privacy.
