Not knowing anything about the Canadian music scene compared to the U.S., I wonder why it is that some Canadian acts don't cross over well here, and there are probably U.S. acts that don't cross over there. We are connected countries; I wouldn't think it would be difficult, but who am I to know. Does anyone know why there is such a chasm between the music of both countries?
Big deal 10 nominations and 10 loses , So What
Gowan's solo success pales in comparison to Styx'. So it really doesn't matter. It's like comparing apples and oranges.
Success is relative to the region. Gowan had about the same success in Canada as Styx did in the USA. He had two MASSIVE albums in Canada in the 80's along with a HUGE comeback album in the mid 90's.
Nice try. Styx was known WORLDWIDE, Gowan really only saw success in his home Country. I still say that pales in comparison to Styx.
Apples and oranges.
You got that right. Gowan's solo career is not even in the same league that Styx was.
And with all this fruit, maybe we should make a flan.
JY could be the custard and Dennis the cheese.
