The "new material tank" for this band run dry a long, long time ago. Not even vapors exist in it. Even Dr. Arpad Vass wouldn't be able to pick up the existence of song vapors in that tank.

yeah, dating all the way back to Regen 1 and "Difference In the World".
Wow, that was a VERY long time ago.

ANd the great Styx dewfender comes out again. First, that is one song in 5 years? Second, if DDY had written and sung that song, you'd be busting his balls for yet another "ballad".

Third, my complaint about Dennis is that ever since Babe, he seems to feel the need to write that same style of song over and over again, AT LEAST once per album.

Though I'd agree Dennis can go to the well a few too many times as far as simlar type ballads go, I don't necessarily put Best of Times in that mold. It's a ballad... yes, but not from the same vein as a First Time or a Don't Let It End.

Perhaps that style comes naturally to him. He seems to lean toward the ballads overall. Never bothered me. Except for when he seemed to use the word Paradise all the time.

Wow, Regurgitation is already here and gone. Not surprising. Maybe their next release will be a full album of new material. Oh wait, pigs would have to fly first or as JY would put it "When their playing hockey over the river Styx".
