Go purchase the MS Funk album(CD). The 8TH song is titled Crystal Pendant. It is when Dennis heard it that it was changed to Crystal Ball.

Plain & Simple the guys have now officially sold out. NO Grand Illusion/Pieces Of Eight CD or DVD for me.

They can all now sale away with their new necklaces.

'Sale Away' - What a great new name for the band that was currently Styx.

i think too many people lose site of the fact that profesional musicans should see their careers as a real business.....not just girls, guitars and glory.........whether it be styx, journey, queen, kiss or whoever, realizes that their product can be expanded and made into more things that can sell, they should do it.......will it make them any real money????? hell if i know....but it's just a band releasing their name and product in another fashion like nearly all bands do.......are they "selling out"??? of course, thats' what they should be trying to do because that's their business. i'm sure on a smaller scale they see this kind of stuff as a way of saying "hey, we're like kiss" or some of the other bands that have been able to market their product in non music ways and have success. i just dont know why anybody gives a shit about it. there is really nothing they can or cannot do at this point that truly affects their place in music history. and if it somehow did then its fine because it's their legacy and career and not mine.

It seems to me some are voicing their frustration that the band is focusing on things like this instead of putting together new music. I don't think it's actually the products themselves.

I don't care what side products they do...but it does seem to get in the way of new music. Rerecorded hits is not new music, live DVD, CD is not new music. Jewelery and watches in not new music.
I want new music

EXACTLY - They have got soooooooooooo many balls in the air they lost sight of what got them there and what their fans want. Who on earth wants Styx jewelery??

Dennis was ripped by the current members for his side projects( theatre) and now they have sooooooo many damn side projects they cant even put out anything new.

They are TOTAL hypocrites and sellouts.

Coolie o.
But for some reason, I can't see the members of Styx sitting in a little workshop, putting these little trinkets together themselves.
So it doesn't exactly take away time from them touring, which they obviously like to do.

By the way Yogi.I don't suppose you have been leading us down the garden path the last couple days,eh?
Jesus loves you ,but everybody else thinks you're a knob.
