there are many to choose from for me as I think both tommy and jy were very underrated as guitar players......i loved the solos to renegade, blue collar man, half-penny two-penny, snowblind, mademoiselle and many many others.....

but right now as of today and it's subject to change based on my mood...........

I'M OK killer killer solo thats my fave today. what about you guys?

Not underrated at all. Very average guitar players.

You're such a stupid piece of shit. They are both among the finest of rock guitar players. Tommy's solo on Blue Collar man from the new dvd is one of the best ever. And his acoustic playing is unbeatable. The two of them were always miles ahead of the other members as players in the 70's and 80's. Listen to live Styx stuff from that era, they suck aside from the guitars.

Half Penny/Two Penny, Snowblind, I'm Ok, Man in the Wilderness, Renegade, Don't Let it End, Suite Madam Blue, Queen of Spades.
I can go on and on. And I defy anyone to listen to Castle Walls and tell me that any of the 5 guys (Dennis, JY, Tommy, John and Chuck) were not excellent musicians. When some of you idiots bash the talent levels of these guys it basically just show how ignorant you really are.

Renegade and Crystal Ball.
That beginning lick of the Renegade solo I still haven't been able to crack.
