And that is a shame. You guys are the best i've seen. While I love our
local tribute band light up they have been stale (imo) since the
untimely and unfortunate death of their lead guitarist david I
forget his last name. But they still put on a great show just not
as good as it used to be. Now suitemadameblue will probably
be here shortly to correct me as usual :twisted: 8)

Yep, here to correct you. David Dettlaff was the guitarist and passed away in 2008.

The guys in Light Up are currently in other bands and doing other projects. They are STILL one of the best Styx Tribute bands! I think it was Glen that called the singer Bobby to "try out" to take DDY's place back in 1999.
