oh my, where to start on this?????? yes, you do take shots at others.....but you're way more passive aggressive than toph, so whether it's intended or not, you cloak it better.....but you do do it and on a regular basis.

my "mission" was based around the cumulative effects of dealing with toph's continued shit stirring and belittling of others opinions.....in case you guys havnt noticed, there's not alot of places on the internet to have legitimate discussions with people that genuinely love this band......so it's very frustrating to me that I come to this place hoping to get some news, updates or engage in some styx love to constantly have to deal with threads like "jy the worst singer in rock history" etc....etc.......etc.........etc.........etc..........etc.......... it's so boring and a waste of time, childish pathetic behavior. Was it constructive? not likely, but I do know that others have patted me on the back and sent me messages thanking me for being willing to call him out.......and up until yesterday, I had no desire to "call bullshit" on him.....it was easier to just sift thru his pointless posts in the hopes that I could find some decent ones from others and occasionally even toph himself. toph is a bully, comes across extremely arrogant, makes inflammatory remarks towards people and the things they support.....does he have to agree with others? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I want to make that clear......he does not have to agree with any of it. but he can disagree in a much more socially acceptable way. and I dont know how you can disagree with that? you tried to call me out for one of my posts yesterday.....i've been on this board for years and been nothing but kind and respectful to everyone and when I finally decided to engage with toph the way he engages with others, you immediately jump up and call "bullshit"......but I dont recall you ever doing that on the behalf of anyone else on this board when toph takes his shots at nearly everyone........hmmmmmmm, i wonder why that is?????? Oh, i remember, its that passive aggressive streak you have in you, coupled no doubt, with you being firmly in the DDY camp.

and trust me, I am well aware of shit I stooped to yesterday to engage with toph......i have no delusions about it.....so dont worry, I'm self aware.

Seems to me you should have used your own advice of: "why dont you either contribute to the thread in a positive way or simply bypass it?".

As far as my posts go, you can label it how ever you like. I just call it as I see it. It's my opinion just as you have yours. Neither carries more weight then the other. As far as this forum goes, It's a forum about Styx and it's members past and present. Not just a love fest for the current incarnation of the band. If you feel that certain posters are out of line with their activity here then take it up with Andrew.

I really enjoy all eras of the Beatles. They are not my favorite by any means but I love to spin Abbey Road, Magical Mystery or Let It Be Naked on vinyl... All great sounding albums. Even the early pop stuff is good, I just enjoy it. Hoping to get "Love" on vinyl that is an excellent album too, reminds me of listening to a Pink Floyd album because each side of pretty much one continuous cut.

Are you serious? I am asking in all honesty. The Beatles revolutionized music, fashion, hair styles, recording techniques, and so much more....I have never seen anyone refer to their music as simple and uninspired. I find it rather flabbergasting.

some of the early beatles stuff was simple.....but as they progressed their music became much more complex.....and to this day when you dissect many beatles tunes the arrangement and chord progressions are extremely unique and different than anything that came before or since.....at least to my ears.

Oh, I agree...much of their early catalog is simple, but it is in keeping with the times. I have always felt that while John and Paul were incredible writers, much of what their sound evolved into was due in no small part to the genius of George Martin. He truly turned the studio into a "lab," if you will; a lot of the experimental techniques and sounds created were directly from him.

As if that is going to change Toph's opinions or how Toph presents them. You say that you ask Andrew to be the "principal". I get it. Your mission wasn't to try and get Toph to stop posting topics and responses that you find bothersome to you. Instead it was just to stir the pot some more. So you just wanted to continue the very thing that you have an issue with. Have you won your battle?
