Styx at Summerfest?!?!

Pollstar has Peter Frampton at Summerfest on 6/30. That's right in the middle of the tour with Styx. Will they be back at the Harley Roadhouse this year?! Anyone heard anything else on this?

Musicgirl, I haven't heard about Styx at Summerfest this year. They've been playing Summerfest off and on since Styx existed. For those who don't know, Summerfest is the largest music festival in the U.S. or maybe even the world I love Summerfest!! TONS of music all day and night and great food. I'm hoping to interview a few bands down there this year again.

I missed out on Styx shows when I was younger. Now Carrot Styx the band that I'd rather not see is ALWAYS playing by my house, literally!!! Last year Carrot Styx played 7 times (or more) within a 2 hour drive from my house. This year if they do play at Summerfest, this will be the 4th time this summer that I'd be able to see them within a 45 minute drive.

Musicgirl, if you live in Wisconsin and I think Classic too, Carrot Styx will be at the Fond Du Lac County Fair and the Jefferson County Fair. Also later in the summer at the Dells.

The Dip, er, Carrot Styx are playing a big Arrowfest concert near Houston, Texas. The little write-up listed the various acts with a sarcastic comment that Nelson was the act everyone was going to see.
This concert is on May 15th, the same date that Dennis will be playing the Beacon Theater in New York.

ChicagoStyx, I'm about 4 hours from Cadott. Are you going? I won't be making that music festival this year. Too busy with 3 State Fairs, 1 local Riverfest and Summerfest. I'm trying to figure out which bands I want to interview this summer. I'm working on Journey right now at the "cornfield" venue in July, hopefully the corn stalks are totally gone

Bugsy, I won't be able to make Arrowfest this year, I'll be in New York City at the Beacon at Dennis' concert on May 15th

I really hope their (Carrot Styx) next cd cover will have a fish or popsicles on the cover (nothing surprises me anymore-LOL). I would love the change from Carrot Styx to Fish Styx (ROTFL) or Popsicle Styx. It would be nice and refreshing
