Well he is from Chicago

How about we just talk about how great this opportunity is for Dennis? What a novel concept.

Dennis told me that he doesn't really follow baseball anymore. He used to have season tickets, which he purchased to support them ,he was not given them. It's been a while since he's gone to a game. He is still somewhat soured by that whole strike thing. He even has made remarks about this in varying interviews.
What he really does now is root for Chicago sports period to do well. He is a bigger Bear fan then he makes mention to.
But yes, he used to be a HUGE Sox fan and wanted to play centerfield for them.

Dennis has 5-8 songs almost completed for his next studio album (cd-lol). I can't remember how many were entirely completed. :? The 3 new songs that he included on the double live cd were suppose to be on the new studio album. Oops, am I bragging again

I know he's very excited about the movie "The Perfect Man" that he was a part of and the Styx song that will be included.

I'm hoping he'll talk about the new Fall/Winter tour dates.

I also hope that I'll be able to get through to ask a question - LOL

That's OK with me.......I will have to rely on all of you to fill me in...
no station in my market carries the show, and I'm not going to mess around with getting off the internet at 10:30 tonight, as the computer is in the bedroom, and Mrs. Classic will be sleeping by then. If you are listening, and have a radio with a cassette deck
and a spare tape.........I'd gladly send you a self addressed stamped envelope and a few bucks for a copy......

Um, let's see there really isn't any "suspence" or "surprises" that I haven't heard about. In his last 2 interviews - in print - he stated this information. Also on a Dennis group this information was already posted days ago.

Classic, can you get Milwaukee's WKLH 96.5 in? It might be on live tonight or it'll be repeated on Saturday. I'm trying to find out :)

Suite,

I live about 15 miles south and west of Madison.......out of range for WKLH, unless I want to drive about 30 miles to the east.

I spent more time than I should have trying to get local market info...I understand you can listen on-line by going to www.ksan.com and streamline the show through your computer....

those would be my only ways of hearing the show, and I guess I'm just not that dedicated of a fan...

I have Dennis' Rockline on two cd's. If you would like to trade me for something, PM me. If you have something to trade that I don't have then we'll have a deal.
It's broken down into about two 45 minute disc, minus about the first two minutes of the show.......... Also missed about five seconds of Come Sail Away so that I could reset. The first disc may be silent for about two minutes, but you can fast forward it.......I believe though I have found a way to fix it.
Anyway, would be more than glad to share/trade.

I have obviously been thrilled knowing that he is adding POE! 8) :P  :D

Please DO NOT offer me money!! If you don't have something to trade, we can do a 2:1. That's where you send me two blank cd's for one with something on it. This is what we do in the 'trade world' if you have nothing to trade.
I am waiting to hear back from one person. The others will be in the mail tomorrow. 8)
I have numerous Dennis radio interviews on cd.....
I am even willing to trade for something on VHS.

Wouldn't it be easy enough to rip these to MP3's and upload them? I'll even offer up the space for people to grab them if you're interested.

Did anybody catch Dennis' question to David Crosby and Graham Nash on last night's Rockline? LMAO. Gotta give the man props for some humor.

Dennis On Rockline

Postby jimmy19029 » Wed Aug 11, 2004 2:51 am

When I saw them in 1983, Mr. Roboto was performed. It was Dennis in the Roboto suit(having just removed the mask) singing to a backing tape. I guess that's what the other source meant by "never played live" The other Kilroy tunes were also mostly played this way. I don't think it was because they couldn't be played live but more for dramatic effect since Dennis, Tommy and JY were playing characters and couldn't be in two places at once playing the character, and themselves in the band. All the other nonKilroy tunes were played live on that tour, however.
Wher did you hear that Larry's parts weren't live?

You know, if Dennis were to get back together with the boys, I'd sure like to hear some of the Kilroy songs played live if for no other reason than to see if they could breathe some new life into what I consider a dreadful collection of songs. I've tried for years to see if KWH would grow on me without any success (yet).
