This may be a double bill for the entire summer
If so it would put anything current Styx has done to sleep
They both would share the orchestra
I call it the 2 Voices Tour if they use my name look out
I want front row tickets to every show,.

I just ordered Supertramp's Greatest Hits cd earlier today, how weird is that?

How many hours is it from Milwaukee to the Taste of Minnesota? I'd like to see this show.

Good Job Froy

By the way Froy, I don't think my private messenger is working. My posts are stuck in the "sent box". I found this out for Milwaukee, seats at lower level (tables and booths) are $75 and the upper balcony are gonig to be $50. The balcony seats are good seats but not the most comfortable.

Hey, can you get a hold of Steve Perry, you're on a roll :)

Okay, I'm going to have to admit my ignorance here. Who exactly is Roger Hodgson? (I'm probably the only idiot here that doesn't know -- sorry)

Thanks, Darren, that explains it. Supertramp is one of those bands whose music I've never crossed paths with. The only song that comes to mind is It's Raining Again, although I'm sure I've heard others and just didn't realize it was Supertramp.

I have always loved the music of Supertramp. I need to dig out my old tape and transfer it to CD and give it a listen again.

That is a good pairing --- Dennis and Roger/Roger and Dennis.

Thanks for that news, Froy.

Um Froy, I don't think you received the correct information. At the moment this tour doesn't exist. I don't know if Roger has time to check his emails, he's busy touring in Germany for the month of December.

I know Roger is a possibility for a few summer dates, but nothing is confirmed.

Also, Dennis isn't confirmed for the Taste of Minnesota, far as know, no acts are.

Sorry................

Hi Ek...

Supertramp is known for songs like,

It's Raining Again( The one you mentioned),

The logical song, Breakfast In America (Don't You Look At My Girlfriend, She's The Only One I Got..), Take The Long Way Home, Give A Little Bit (Which was mentioned also)

And the one I really like, "Goodbye Stranger, It's Been Nice, Hope You Find Your, Paradise".....

Hope this helps....

Deejay:

OK, I've heard Goodbye Stranger and Take The Long Way Home so I don't feel quite so ignorant :D

An interesting coincidence: I was just watching the Goo Goo Dolls on Direct TV Freeview and they covered Give A Little Bit. John Rzeznik mentioned that it was an old song and that they didn't write it and now I find out it was originally done by Supertramp. Funny how these things happen. BTW, I really enjoyed the GGD version of it!

I think Supertramp's most popular song was "The Logical Song".

"There are times when all the world's asleep
the questions run so deep
for such a simple man

won't you please, please tell me what we've learned
I know it sounds absurd
please tell me who I am."
