Froy you said nobody would go to see Styx as they are now as they do the same songs every year.

Well can you tell me which of the following songs they would be playing live now if DDY was still with them...

COME SAIL AWAY
SUITE MADAM BLUE
GRAND ILLUSION
LADY
BABE
ROCKIN THE PARADISE
BEST OF TIMES

ANSWER....probably all of them .......so the songs wouldn,t change if DDY was there. Or are you going to say if DDY was still in Styx the above would be replaced by

CASTLE WALLS
PIECES OF EIGHT
QUEEN OF SPADES
BORROWED TIME
NOTHING EVER GOES AS PLANNED
THIS OLD MAN
SUPERSTARS

I seen Styx twice in Germany in 2000 on consecutive nights and the set list featured 4 different songs on the 2nd night than they played on the 1st.

KILFROY once again your words have no meaning, you are in error

And, you will find yourself sitting for almost an entire concert wondering when Styx is coming to town next so you can experience a real rock concert.

That would be the case. Dennis doesn't do a straight forward rock concert. It's a blend of a whole lot of elements that work well for him.

Seems to work well for those who go as well.

If you're looking for a straight rock concert, don't go to one of his shows, go where you can find revolving keyboards

Just trying to bring a little levity.

And beer on the floor (or field) and lots of underwear (all sizes) hanging from guitars etc.

I've seen the new lineup several times and each time I went for the music. At a couple of those concerts, the "lingerie show" was in full swing. Now, personally, that's not something I go to see, or would choose to participate in (although I've yet to see men's briefs show up on stage). However, I cannot control the behavior of those around me. Couple that with the fact that I've shelled out money for the show (and in most cases, traveled a bit), and I'm probably more inclined to tolerate behavior I wouldn't in other situations. I suppose I could storm out in protest for the benefit of the entire 2 people that might notice. :D
