old concert videos

from nick,
i wonder if the band would ever consider releasing an older concert video
from the paradise theater tour, didn't they film some shows in japan and largo, it would be great to have a dvd of them from that tour when they were ruling the rock world, i know we have the return to paradise show, but they did some different songs, lights, borrowed time, great white hope, half penny two penny, this would really be great

Anything released in DVD format would be lovely.....

I have bootlegs of Pink Floyd's PULSE and A Momentary Lapse of Reason tour concerts. They are not of ideal quality, but they are a heck of alot better than watching my 10 year old VCR copy of the shows....

I wish I had something comparable from Styx...Pieces of Eight tour would be ideal but would settle for Paradise Theatre as well.

If this is do-able, Styx is missing the boat by not getting it out there in my opinion.

I have a bootleg of Styx doing the orginal Paradise Theatre show. I believe it was shot in Baltimore. I want to say that show was shot professionally. Mine is like a copy X 10 so the quality is not that great. If it was shot professionally someone ought to have the master of that show.

I too would love to own a professional quality VHS or DVD of the orginal Paradise Theatre Tour.

Thanks for posting the information Darren, what a nice treat. I think I have most of the video's before 1999 that are listed.

I'm looking for a copy of the People's Choice Awards and the concert the did in Hawaii Dec 1975/Jan 1976 at a festival.

It would be GREAT to have the original Paradise Theatre tour on DVD, professional done, of course!!

I would love to see footage of Styx performing the song "Ballerina" with the ballerina on stage, (this was discussed on another group).

We're FINALLY buying a DVD burner, so I can transfer all my video tapes to DVD!!
