Postby shortwavez » Fri Jun 03, 2005 10:00 am

hey fellow styx fans, my name is val and i'm new to this forum. My husband and i are huge styx fans. I'm surprised i didn't find this forum sooner. Its nice to be in the company of other people who appreciate Styx and the impact they have made in the music industry. anyways, i was wondering what everybody thought of the I am the Walrus video..?? My husband's sister works at Universal and she told me about it. I just checked it out and its awesome. Its kinda old school but really cool. If you've never seen it, you can check it out at the styx website: www.styxworld.com. im looking forward to chatting more with you guys!

Shortwave,

A couple of things.

1. read the last twenty or thirty threads to get a flavor of what this board is or has become.

2. Know that this board has some very opinionated posters on both major incarnations of Styx.

3. Post accordingly.

And welcome to our happy BB. Hope you decide to stay.

Now,

The Walrus video is a great video reminiscent of the time period that Walrus was originally recorded. The video actually cost very little to make as it was primarily concert footage they had been shooting.

It is nice because it also provided the opportunity for Styx to become some type of factor again in the music industry and allowed them to have more doors reopen for them.

Indeed welcome, and I do like the video, although it is a little trippy for my tastes-ERIC

How is it possible that not everyone has at least watched the video by now? Especially those of us here.
