I just saw something I felt I needed to point out to those with eyes to see...MY bad!

(Let's hear it for respectful dialogue y'all!)

I realize you are answering Scott. For what it's worth Adam, I do agree very much that gay bashing, racism, religious intolerance, etc. should not be condoned.

My saying to let it go wasn't meant to imply that it should just be accepted, but rather that, the person demonstrating these qualities seems to ignore feelings no matter who says what.

I think that the majority of posters can see what is going on .

My apologies if I added to your frustration.

Precisely. It really doesn't matter who says what. And yes, the majority of the posters here do see what's going on. Thank you, Sadie.

No backpeddling here. YOU read into my statement, which I not only stand by, but I defy you to find anyone to argue: Gene Simmons (whose real name as a kid was Hymie Klein) is a shameless huckster who peddles ANYTHING, quality being irrelevant. I'd call him that if he were any race.

Adam I have to say your origanal statement was interpeted the same for me and I am a roman cathlic. It did sound anti semetic but I give you the benifit of the doubt. If you do not want to acknowledge a improper choice of words - think Dick Durbin

Okay, I think that makes 2 people who interpreted my Hymie Klein the Huckster line as anti-semitic, in which case I DO apologize for the choice of words (I assure you I meant no such inference - I'm so incapable of antisemitism that I never DREAMED that the concept of a "Huckster" would be attributed to Jewishness...I personally imagine a Huckster being some southern carny guy selling medicine oil or tickets to see a bearded lady; a redneck more than anyone).

Let's see, are we done beating this horse yet? I think I probably just need to switch to decaf.

Hey! I don't think I'm alone here in saying that I am personally offended by you reference to redneck, medicine oil selling carney workers.

MY MOM DOES THAT!

And just because she has a bit of peachfuzz on her chin is no reason to pick on her and call her names!

Got to go someone threw up on the tilt-A-Whirl.

I couldn't agree more. Why doesn't Glen think more of his performance during this time? He was tremendous IMO. In fact, it was the tour that won me over to being a pretty big Glen fan. Made me seek out his solo work.
