I didn't really take from it any bitterness........instead I took form it that they are at peace about it, honest in how they feel and I think JY especially went out of his way to praise DDY's talents as a singer and songwriter.
But more than one thing can be true......I think they can recognize DDY's talent, how good and important he once was to the band, but that they have also gotten to the point that the brand can survive without DDY and they obviously are able to make enough money or they are having enough fun to justify going out and still playing.
Your use of "washed up" is interesting......what is your definition of being washed up?
