Tommy was the baby in his family. That’s why he always acts like a big baby! He doesn’t get his way and cries like a big baby. It’s because he was the baby in his family. That’s the one thing of note I learned in the Rather interview besides the bitterness and anger that they continued to show re: DDY. Boring Styx. Get over your washed up selves. What a bunch of losers. Big bitter babies. That being said it was clear who the mastermind behind he band was - they just can’t stop talking about him. 1/2 the interview was about Dennis. 20 years later that’s all they can talk about. That’s when it’s clear he’s the reason for their success. They can’t stand it. “Jealousy got a hold on me”

I didn't really take from it any bitterness........instead I took form it that they are at peace about it, honest in how they feel and I think JY especially went out of his way to praise DDY's talents as a singer and songwriter.

But more than one thing can be true......I think they can recognize DDY's talent, how good and important he once was to the band, but that they have also gotten to the point that the brand can survive without DDY and they obviously are able to make enough money or they are having enough fun to justify going out and still playing.

Your use of "washed up" is interesting......what is your definition of being washed up?
