It looks they added a Virginia date, replacing the Kentucky date that was there before.

Are they going to be an opening act or splitting the playing time equally? Everything I have read on the Heart sites point to this being a co-headliner tour for them.

We saw Heart in Orlando last month where they headlined alone, and the set list was pretty much identical to the one they used when they toured with Journey last year. I am guessing it will still be identical when they play with them again.

Thats a good question. That I have not yet heard. I just noticed that some of the Arena dates where Journey is playing, Heart will not be with them because they are playing somewhere else. I wonder who will be the co-headliner/cpening act for those shows.

Shows that arent scheduled with Heart so far:

September 19, 2009 - Alpharetta, GA - Verizon Wireless Amphitheater
August 25, 2009 - Grand Rapids, MI - Van Andel Arena
August 28, 2009 - Darien Center, NY - Darien Lake Performing Arts Center

August 26, 2009 - Columbus, OH - Schottenstein Center

Thats just AWESOME!! Instant wish came true :)

Good shit, I saw them at the Schottenstein on the Generations tour. Great show. Might just have to go to that if they don't hit Cleveland

I'm definitely gonna be at the Schott. It's just 40 minutes away from me.

I just realized that's a Wednesday... it's gonna be iffy for me, but I will try for it. I'm wondering if they're skipping Cleveland this year... that'd be kinda weird since they've come every tour the last several years.

Don't think it will be BA. Here is his schedule. I haven't looked at journey's to see if the dates coincide but I am guessing they do. Notice the many dates consecutively. This is an acoustic tour and also notice only 10 or so dates per month.

UPCOMING CONCERTS:
May 07 Louisville, Kentucky, United States
May 08 Madison, Wisconsin, United States
May 09 Chicago, Illinois, United States
May 10 Des Moines, Iowa, United States
May 11 Rochester, Minnesota, United States
May 12 Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States
Jun 01 Houston, Texas, United States
Jun 02 Austin, Texas, United States
Jun 03 Dallas, Texas, United States
Jun 04 Midwest City, Oklahoma, United States
Jun 05 Wichita, Kansas, United States
Jun 06 Kansas City, Missouri, United States
Jun 07 Omaha, Nebraska, United States
Aug 08 Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada
Aug 09 Quebec City, Quebec, Canada

The bastard just got done shooting the centerfold for Playboy France. Lucky SOB.

Not to derail this thread, BUT, I think you all might find this a bit interesting.

maybe for the Irish, The Eagles are just no Bryan Adams
Ireland shows no love for The Eagles

Legendary American rock band The Eagles has been forced to cancel their major June 28 concert in Galway due to poor ticket sales.

The outdoor event was set to take place at Pearse Stadium in Salthill. The venue has a capacity of 34,000, and acts such as Bob Dylan and Bryan Adams have played popular concerts there in recent years.

Perhaps the lack of interest was due to the steep ticket prices (which started at €86.25 for standing, €131.25 for seats), or maybe for the Irish, The Eagles are just no Bryan Adams.

Either way, Aiken Promotions made the official announcement on Monday that the show was cancelled “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

The two other upcoming Irish Eagles concerts are still on for Belfast on June 30, and Dublin on July 2.

Those who purchased Galway tickets, including the line of people who anxiously showed up in December to scoop them up, can choose to receive a full refund or exchange them for The Eagles Dublin show.

Even a band like the Eagles can't anally rape the fans with huge ticket prices.

Thats pretty crazy about the Eagles. I know the majority of their popularity is in the States where 100 million of their 120+ million records sold total have been sold in the U.S. The Eagles tickets are too expensive I agree, AC DC isnt even that expensive and there much more popular worldwide.

As for Bryan Adam's tour dates interferring with Journey's...they do not overlap at all with the arena's Journey will wont be playing with Heart. There is a slight possibility he could jump on their tour for around 9 arena dates in the summer.

I fucking love The Eagles. But, that being said, they suck this tour. Never known for animated live performances and obviously not for great camaraderie with each other (part of the reason their live shows are so sterile), it looked worse than ever this year. They were clearly just there for the paycheck, not for love of the music or playing live - with the exception of Joe Walsh, of course, who always steals the show. I enjoyed the music but truthfully, the experience was maybe marginally better than sitting in my theater room with a few buddies drinking beers and watching their Melbourne DVD. No soul, no energy, no enthusiasm.

They aren't gonna get away with those absurd prices they charge much longer, not in this economy. I'm glad to see this kind of thing happening, in a way. A concert should be a good time, not two weeks of pay for an average person to bring a friend or significant other and have a few beers each.

Well if this is indication, the Nassau Coliseum website as the show listed as Journey, NOT Journey & Heart. This is just an assumption, but wouldn't heart be on the listing if they were on the bill and more than just openers?

I just looking at the Reno Events Center homepage. It says Journey with special guest Heart. Sometimes when a band is a special guest many times the arena will not even list the act.

Heart management has also been deleting some of their previous stops that coincided with Journey's schedule. Now Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI might be a possibility for Heart as a special guest.

Adams is out. I emailed Bruce Allen's office and its response was: It was "never planned."

Should have figured it out on our own. BA is here in the States on an solo acoustic tour. He would need the band to play with Journey.

That's too bad, but like you said we pretty much knew it was the case already. Hopefully, they'll hook for a tour one of these years.

The Red Rocks Show is still listed as just Journey. Got a notice from Ticketmaster about it again today. Even clicked on the link and checked show info...NO MENTION OF HEART. I would think that everyone would want Heart listed if they are playing...it would help everyone.

Some venues dont list the band if they are just a special guest. If you want to know for sure if Heart is playing at Red Rocks, check out their website. According to Heart they are playing with Journey at Red Rocks.

It will be tough unless it's at the end of tour. Look at the dates, to avoid having three shows back to back you will have very little room to work. On the bright side they shouldn't have to step down the music with this type of limited schedule.

HELLO PITTSBURGH?!?!? Two years running??? C'mon guys? Where's the love?

Pittsburgh loves Journey...we sell out concerts here fast (Journey still owns the record for fastest sellouts [2 shows] in Mellon [Civic] Arena HISTORY! 35 minutes for BOTH shows...1986 RoR tour)
