Dean and Lula,

My deepest sympathies are with you both. Trevor will always be with you, forever in your hearts and Wyatt will carry his spirit on. I am so deeply sorry, my heart aches for both of you.
When in doubt, DUCK!

Our son Trevor passed away today due to heart failure. This really hurts. I think we are both in shock, and frankly, I don't know what to do, where to turn, same with Lula.

The reason for this posting is to say thank you to all who have been so kind with gifts and prayers in the past, and we would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Melodicrock has been a wealth of friendship, despite some ups and downs, but we know there are a lot of good quality people here and we would like to show you are appreciation.

Again, Both Lula and I as well as Trevor, thank you all for your prayers and support.

Dean, Lula and Trevor.

Oh Dean, I am so shocked and saddened to hear the news about Trevor. He's had a lot of prayers going out for him and tonight we continue to pray that you and Lula are given the strength to deal with your loss. Trevor was very loved in this life and you will see him again in the next, I truly believe that. My heart and my prayers go out to the three of you. {{{{{}}}}}}

Dean and Lula,

My prayers and thoughts are with you this evening. I just now heard the news and it saddens me to hear the news of your son's passing. I realize that there are no words that can truly comfort the both of you, but at least take from this and know that you have friends all across the country and world who are praying for you and thinking of you and Lula right now. Although we have yet to meet in person, I do send my love, thoughts, and tears to you both.

You never know what you are going to read, hear, or see when you check on the computer or turn on the tv.
My heart sank as I read this..........
No words will help.
It is very cool that you have so many people from all over who believe in prayer and are praying for you, because that I believe is the best thing anyone can do for anyone.
May prayers and peace fine their ways to you.
There is a purpose to all of this, even if we don't understand all the time.
There was purpose for Trevor's brief life and I hope someday it comes to true light.

There is nothing in this world worse than the loss of a child. I know there is nothing that can be said to take away that loss but please know there are many here who are praying for you to be comforted as only God can comfort you and that you have friends here who care about you both. Do not hesitate to ask for anything you might need. My deepest condolences.

A few of us on The Annex were kicking around doing something for Dean, Lula, and Wyatt. Ideas ranged from seeing if we could donate something to the American Heart Association, the organization that specializes in the Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, or perhaps seeing about helping out with the family's medical and funeral expenses. To be honest we're not sure what to do.

While I'm sure our little site would do something appropriate, it was suggested that we go to the wider audience here at melodicrock and see if we all could help in some way. I'm thinking that is a good idea.

Would anyone here be interested in taking the lead in organizing something? It would especially help if someone close to Dean and Lula could find out what their wishes are. I know it's too early to contact them with the immense grief they are assuredly going through, but as a community a gesture of support seems like the right thing to do.

Thanks for reading.

My Condolences Deano

Postby Salmacis99 » Fri Oct 19, 2007 2:20 pm

Hey Deano-
My sincerest condolences on your loss. Take strength from your friends and family and hang in there as best as you can. I'm not a praying man, but tonight I'll offer up a few words to the powers that be for you and your family. I hope that together you all can manage to weather this very difficult time.

One further thing Deano- if you happen to get any cruel comments on this or any other forum, don't get angry at them. Pity them. Anyone demented enough to do that because of 'feuding' on these boards (which in the grand scheme of life means nothing) is sick and already in their own hell. Ignore them and do what you need to do.

Again, my condolences and my best wishes for you and your family.

Absolutely. I'm a little out of whack here without my main PC and other problems, but I'd definitely like to help organize this ASAP. AR - lead the charge in my absence will you and keep me posted. I fully support any ideas and all efforts.
