You should be called on it when you get to being too bitchy and you know it. There's something else you should know....I have given consideration to what you were going through last year, though. I know that losing your mom was hard on you and you probably weren't always in the best frame of mind and using the best judgement all the time.

Meh, I don't use excuses to justify raising hell, cutting loose or just plain fucking up. I certainly wouldn't use a death to patronise someone or to try to score points; I do have a little class.
Thing is Phyllis, it would be a hell of a lot less annoying when you 'call' on people for being bitchy, or rude, or crass, or whatever, if you would just once pay attention when people call hypocrit on you, instead of pulling all sorts of shit out to justify yourself. I also don't understand why you keep calling for people to be nice to each other, relax, learn to take a joke, stop being so nasty and uptight, etc, but you're the one who keeps dragging out shit that happened years ago, and refusing to accept that other people do not have the same view of past events as you. Memorex wrote a great piece on the idea of differences of opinion in the Elton John/Rush Limbaugh thread, you should think about it.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!
