First off let me apologize for the vulgarity of my Anti liberal post. Oh and I am OSL. My posts under my daughter's handle are do to the fact that her computer is on the fritz and when she uses mine she changes the name to post and I fail to notice I am not signed in as OSL . My name is quite appropriate as I am trully One still learning. After posting here for several years I actually forgot my 13 year old has joined are little group wich is in and of itself no excuse for the lack of civility and profane languge found in my recent post. Politics and religion can be debated without hatred and intolerance and to that point let me admit guilt and apologize.

If any that stuff offends, tough.

Unlike certain Democratic senators (*cough*DICK DURBIN!*chortle*), I don't apologize for nothing. Last time I checked, it was perfectly legal and constitutional for 'Murika-hatin' lib'rullz like me to have a tougue and a spine and those are two things I'll never require a permission slip from Republicans/Conservatives in order to have.

You certainly do have the tounge and spine and while we could not be more diametrically opposed in political idieology I was wrong to call you a f***ing comunist b*stard and I apologize.

The_Noble_Cause wrote..............

You sound like an intolerant asshole.
ClanWizard13 is more like it.

I am an African American! Ok I'm not, but I really am not intolerant nor am I a racist (I do not however agree wth affirmative action) and to be called that hurts a lot but hey from my post (pasted below for referance)

Three words out of all the garbage you wrote tell me who you are..........

THE COMMON GOOD - You are a fucking communist bastard and if your type ever gain control of this Country "God help us" oh sorry I know the word "God" frightens and offends you liberal slime. You insult Ronald Reagan one of the most selfless and decent president to lead this nation and you and your liberal brethren advocate gay marriage, affirmative action (discimination) , Godless classrooms and the moral decay that will destory this nation
.

I can see how you could think I might be. But Noble please do not label me solely on one post.

Funny how people use politics as an opportunity to express such hatred in judgement - and attempt to fuse those sinful words and actions to their religious beliefs.

We don't live in a theocracy. Well, at least not yet. Perhaps neo-conservatives should get used to that fact.

Moniker, I am not really sure what your point here is. My reference to "Godless classrooms" is what I assume provocted your comments but my point is that some liberals seem to want to abolish all types of religious expression if it occours in a public or goverment forum, such as the mention of God at a sporting event or prayer in school. Contrary to common belief the constitution does not require a seperation of church and state. What the constitution prohibits is the establishment of a state sanctioned religion. A theocracy is what exists in The Islamic Republic of Iran and not something I would want in our great and diverse nation.

well, I was hoping this thread wouldn't disintegrate into what it has become, but that's the risk one takes whenever posting a political topic.

One of the truly great things about living in a country such as this is the right to disagree about such things, and not have to worry about retribution ( other than perhaps a verbal tongue lashing from someone who disagrees with you ) If you speak up and voice your opinion.

Hello Classic , We have had many enjoyable conversations on this board and you are one who I first thought of as a friend when I first started posting on this board. My guess is that we probably cancel out each other votes at election time but I have the utmost respect for you.

Just a thought to you guys and gals.....Wizard is 13.

While we all have our political beliefs, they are ours.

True, we should try to educate each other on the misgivings of either political side. Both sides have strengths and weaknesses with each correcting the misgivings of the other side when they go to far.

It is the lack of tolerance or inability to see the positive side of others and their points of view that brings us to threads like these. One sided views never go anywhere and seldom help you in proving your point or moving your agenda forward

Mark, Well said and thanks for pointing out that we do have a JUST TURNED THIRTEEN poster amoung us

Well thats it hope this clears the air a bit... Lets talk Styx

OSL-often well intentioned posts get lost in the shuffle. And even if no one acknowledged your post, your apology was read. Sometimes manners are forgotten. My apologies to you for forgetting mine.

OSL. Apology accepted here. Too much was going down in what amounted to "political" threads and I basically stopped reading those threads.

Hope you post here with regularity. And we get back on subject.

Thanks to all. I get too sensitive for a guy with a loud mouth. Loved the thread on trading Shaw. Very funny and really what we are all here for. I do think that the unofficial rule of putting OT in the subject line should be used I never intended to get into a political debate but just got sucked in.
