This is weird. I was on the phone last night talking to someone that was watching the game. Last inning, Houston just needed 2 outs. I was joking that St. Louis would come back and everything would be all right - LOL I turned on the tv, one more out. I saw the pitcher's eyes of confidence and then 2 guys on base. Then BOOM a home run!!! I couldn't believe it that St. Louis won!!

And that is my little story from last night.

No offense, but I wanted St. Louis to win. It's so exciting!!

Being a Houston gal, I hate to say this, but Houston sports teams have pretty much always done this. The Astros in particular.

I was just waiting for the collapse, the wind to change, and, sure enough, it happened.

I have very little doubt the Cards will come back and win it all and head to the Series, giving Dennis a Hobson's choice as his good friend's team and his favorite team square off.

Dennis will forgive you

Yes LDP...but before you think I actually had the brain cells to figure it out...I did not. I had some assistance. And trust me, the choice of which to use was daunting. Such a hard decision

One more damn out............................. A strikeout, a popup, a laser hit right at someone.

Lidge throws 97 and has the filthiest slider around and he hangs one to Albert. How did Eckstein hit that pitch. He hits a low outside sliddy between short and third. One lousey stinking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you recover from that?????????????????????????

Will they have to go to a game seven?????????????? At least they have got a legend on the mound if they do. The GREATEST of all Time!!!!!

And now pitching......................................................................... #22 James( Dr. Rightous ) Young.

Every pitch Brad Lidge threw last night was godly except the one pitch he throws Pujolos. Then...........................

I think Albert was pissed that Pepsi chose A - Rod over him for their baseball commercial. That shot surely would of hit the moon if it hadnt hit the wall or railroad station or whatever the hell that is off in left center.

One damn out and youve got Eckstein and Edmonds before Pujolos.

I hope I am wrong, but I think Ive got a better chance of falling in love with the song Cold War than the Astros have of getting to the series now.

I have my Kilroy CD in my car. As the ULTIMATE sacrifce for the Astros I will play Cold War, and High Time for my entire trip 50 minute trip home from work today. I will also play these songs to and from work tomorrow.

If this works and the Stros get a W and a trip to the series out of it, I will then play nothing but Boys Will Be Boys, Please, High Time, Music Time, Just Fell In, Hip Hop, Cold War, and This Is Not A Test all the way until Saturday leading up to game one vs The Sox.

Go Astros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suppose this is all very hard on you texans, after all, if the Stros dont go to the World Series, you'll have to wait for the Rockets season to start to see any PROFESSIONAL sports in Houston....

or.......you could watch the TEXANS !

Oh trust me. I take no offense! Houston teams suck. No question. There were some fun years with the Oilers, but, of course, no championships.

Rockets. Uh, who? (Not a basketball fan)

Astros/Lastros. They always are, as Yogi put so well, a heartbreak.

I hit the switch on my laser video and theres a man staring back at me....

I'm sacrificing more than any fan should.

I am determined to prove that talant, hard work, and being the absolute best at what one does will have NOTHING to do with the outcome of tonights game 6.

Tonights game will all boil down to some demented fans intrest in some horrible 80's Kilroy tunes.

Cold War and High Time HAVE to be the ULTIMATE slump busters!!!!!

Go Houston!!! I am doing my part and I dont mind doing it!!!!!!!!

This series ends tonight. Houston is too good. My prediction: Lidge(who is the filthiest closer in the game), strikes out the side in the 9th.

Bring on the palehose.
