Styx - Best Music Breaks

Postby bugsymalone » Sat Nov 05, 2005 4:20 am

OK, starting a new STYX topic here.

I was listening to Cornerstone today in my truck and thinking, again, that it really is a great album. There are some really cool instrumental breaks on that album, and it got me to thinking.

What do you consider some of the best instrumental breaks in a Styx song?

Off the top of my head, some of my favorites are:

Lights
Lonely People
Pieces of Eight
Castle Walls
Love in the Midnight
I'm OK
Young Man
Homewrecker
And, of course, Come Sail Away

Actually I thought the the topic at first was what song you wanted to break, as in tear up. But Bugsy list was all good songs, guess I need to put my glasses on, or slow down and read, been trying to catch up on everything here and Journey board.-ERIC

Good to be back. Trying to adjust to Tennessee, not having a job, and etc....... But some good has come out of it. When going thru my house, found a bunch of old Styx articles my girlfriend at the time had collected and have to me. Have yet to go thru them, but look like the survuved the hole in the roof, where as my 50 plus concerts shirts didn't. But take the good with the bad. Found 3 old Styx mirrors too. One from Cornerstone, one from Paradise (but that was busted) and one from Kilroy. ANYWAY, back to reading-ERIC
