Dennis & Gowan in Canada

Postby SuiteMadameBlue » Thu Nov 17, 2005 11:48 am

By request from gr8dane, more Gowan topics

Oh what the heck, why not. It's either post or do laundry.

It's interesting that Dennis and Gowan are playing in Canada as solo artists on one of the same days. February 18th, different cities. One concert sold out within hours of going on sale, the other still has tickets available.

I'll say this, Gowan is performing with the Orchestra London Canada. That orchestra is one of the best orchestra's that I ever heard perform.

Awww, Eric that's not nice to say both of those things about Gowan. He can't help it that his hair is thinning.

I feel terrible for guys that have their hair thinning or going bald. It must be so hard to go through that.

Add JY to it, and yhe could do a broadway production of the Wizard of OZ. Dennis could want hair, Larry a Voice, and JY some talent :D

Honestly you know I'm a Fan of all three, so I don't fill too bad about my comments-ERIC

It's okay. We understand. And at least we recognize humor from time to time. Okay... some of us recognize humor...some of the time.

Sorry Suite, but one awful picture of DDY! Hair? Or whatever is on his head. Falls into the "what was he thinking?" department.

Cute face though. :)

As to the Gowan picture. You have to stop scaring the little children.

Slow erosion. Like water on stone. That is what we at the LGFC seek. To welcome you into our fold with open arms. A fold with open arms? huh. Anyhow first Suite jumped onto the Panthers bandwagon and I predicted that she would soon fall prey to the charms of one Lawrence (you can call me larry) Gowan.

Suite says that will never happen. But what do I see on this post but a photo of Larry embedded in her message. You see, like I said before, a slow wearing away of the defenses.

Resistance is futile.

Oh, and Da Bears go down on Sunday like Panthers Cheerleaders in Tampa. Sorry Sadie.

Nahhhh. She's just trying to help sell tickets to his concert. Apparently he needs it -- and Suite is a kind person.

Oh. And GO PANTHERS! :D May as well root for someone who is winning right now.

Scott, I think you need to work on "slow erosion" of the EARS......encourage your future victims to turn whatever they are listening to up REALLY loud.....

Once hearing loss ensues, the Gowan defenses will quickly erode, ad you'll have them right where you want them !

Thanks for the info, Suite. I'm afraid I'll have to miss both shows, unfortunately. Unless we take a honeymoon in Canada, which might happen.

And count me in with the rest who think the hair piece has got to go. Why can't he just live with the toilet ring? I bet he'd look 10 times better.

I was trying to put similar pictures of the guys with the microphones - UGH I wasn't even looking at the "hair do" - LOL

No wonder I'm receiving really sweet emails from the "other" side. I guess I never realized that I've been promoting this "side" for a while now

LOL, I guess I can't change the picture, bummer. I know about scaring the kids, I can't open this thead with them around - LOL

I didn't fall on the Panthers bandwagon just yet. Give me a few weeks to see how my Packers are going to do. Then I'll wear your Panthers sweatshirt with pride!! As for Larry, there is no way I'll be on the LGFC bandwagon, no way. You can't make me, you won't make me, I will not fall under your spell - LOL

Suite says that will never happen. But what do I see on this post but a photo of Larry embedded in her message. You see, like I said before, a slow wearing away of the defenses.

LOL, I just wasn't thinking when I put the picture up. I will not fall under your Larry spell!!

Well, I do feel pretty bad for him, he is in Canada and I thought he was really popular up there. Then you have Dennis coming up there and selling out 7 concerts within hours. I try to be nice and help everyone out  But there is another side of me only a few have seen, mah ha ha ha  You don't want to get me started - LOL

Anything for you :) That would be great to have a honeymoon in Canada, you can catch both shows!! I love Canada, I wish I could go up there again.

You've been at the double espresso again haven't you?

This would be the same woman who likes Chuck Cecil. She has no defenses since she is a Pack fan (just yanking on ya Suite)

No! All my unpacking is done. Just sitting around with too much time on my hands. At least I'm not sitting around wondering why me. These aren't the best of times right now, being unemployed, but it's not the worst either. Was hoping to be in college by now, but nothing ever goes as planned, so I have to wait till Jan. I'm ok with that, really. I do not want to become a blue collar man, that is why I chose college. And being a renegade from the law is not what I want either. This old man (40 now), is going stir crazy, Dyersburg is a small town, not a lot to do. At least my lady is here with me, she's a babe to, no queen of spades. The best thing about here is that it is quiet. Suite madame blue may say "Eric you fooling yourself", I maybe living on Borrowed time, in Dyersburg, or it all could be a grand illusion, who knows? Maybe someone is trying to put me on, maybe I was born for adventure and this quiet town is not enough. maybe I'm a man in the wilderness, who can't find my way home. But I'll keep walking these fields of the brave with my miss america-ERIC (I really have too much time.....

We all know these are the times that try your soul. You will soon find your new castle walls, meanwhile you keep wearing your brave new face. It's a shame you just fell in to some really bad problems. Remember, you're not dead yet, you can converse with all the lonely people here, and you and your southern woman will be just fine.

I'd tell you to come back to chicago...but it's darn cold here right now.

I could keep going...but...next....

Eric,

I cant imagine what you have had to go through. It must be like having to start all over again. Am I correct?

I always told myself if I ever had to start all over again or if I could start all over again, knowing what I know now I would make DAMN sure that I would 'Do Things My Way'!!
