Gonna skip the whisky for now... I feel a little fragile today!

Yeah, it's pretty hard on the body isn't it......I don't drink as much whisky these days, I probably drink more wine than anything else......having said that, I still do a bottle of fire-water a fortnight!!

I don't do wine at all anymore because of the headaches it gives me, even after two glasses. A bottle of whisky can last from over a week to a month, depending on my thirst... usually it's the latter.

'Recuperation' for me normally means....
Drinking lots of water....

Having a greasy fried breakfast or more likely, a take out lunch....

Watching a DVD (usually a comedy) from the collection....

Laying around doing precisely fuck all.

A bit later, maybe having a drink (the dog that bit ya) to take the edge off.

Greasy food works for me too, but I must eat it before I feel ill -the next day I don't even feel brave enough to look at it!

Recuperating for me means that in the morning I only have some water and aspirin and head back to bed again... I remain there until late afternoon... then it's time to try and eat a slice of toast. Bobbi needs to be as quiet as possible during the entire process of course... :P The rest of the day I waste doing as little as possible, longing for the hour that it's time to go to sleep again...

What is it about the greasy food? It is so true!

Yes. Much water helps. Aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen...

Question: S'dip + Bobbi = couple? (Sorry for not knowing or delving into the archives to clarify.)

Thanks!

Yes, we're a couple! ;)

The traditional greasy food after a night on the town in Holland is either shoarma with lots of sauce or something deep fried like a kroket or frikandel. When in the vicinity Burger King is an option as well.

Coke is really good if you were drinking beer to get drunk on, however, if you were shitfaced on say, scotch and coke, the last thing you want is more coke......I remember a few times throwing up all this black stuff......nice. :P

Anyone know the name of the drink that supposedly gets you drunk again once you drink water the next day? Could it be Ouzo? :?

Haven't heard of that one no......I will say that one should avoid OJ or coffee, as both are diuretics and will dehydrate you even further!!

I've posted links to some pics in the photos thread regarding my room. No pics of the finished product yet, but at least you can see the before and during results.

Yep.... Ouzo. And I so hope that Kenny and Penny were talking about the drinkable kind, not the powdery party favors...

Definitely the drinkable kind. The other is one drug I never got around to trying.

I'm not quite sure what Bobbi is referring to there, to be honest.....I know that a couple of bongs can bring an acid trip back on a little bit the next day, but I'm not sure of any powdered reference to Ouzo.....I have been out to dinner this eve though, and a few dwinkies were had by all, so I may be a little slow on the uptake!!!

I think Bobbi is referring to the South American nose candy Kenny....coke not ouzo.

Your old aunt? That's a little different; old aunts aren't that likely persons to come with such a recommendation, I'd think! She has great taste I must say!

Skål!

That's about all the Swedish I know... Your language always sounds so beautiful every time I hear it, I wish I knew more words.
