Yogi, you wanted me to listen to the WHOLE Cyclo cd and I did  Did you read my reviews of each song?

See if it wasn't the personal politics of this whole Styx Soap Opera, I would have probably really pushed this cd and really promoted the heck out that one Tommy song.

Was any of these songs played on the radio? Are they being played on the radio?

By the way, I read Froy your posts and I think you and him are in some type of love-hate relationship

I read and respect your review of Cyclorama. I REALLY think it is a GREAT CD.

It is real funny that 3 of my favorite Styx albums are: Equinox, Cyclorama, and Edge Of the Century. Two are missing Tommy, & one is missing Dennis.

As for my relationship with Froy. I do NOT dislike him one small bit. I sure dont love him either( reserved for family& close friends).

Like EVERYONE else he is entitled to his opinion( even though it is wrong over 75% of the time).

He just seems to go WAAAYYYY overboard from time to time. Usually, I think it is just for the enjoyment of the readers. He baits us all the time. Personally, I like that. I enjoy seeing how riled up some of the posters here get. Stealing an avatar????? Big deal!!!!!

As for his view on Styx: I find it funny because most of us are really pissed that Styx has NEVER gotten any respect from the music critics, and the music industry. For some reason, the music critics??? hate the band. The critics seem to hate them based on the band members, and comments these band members and their management have made in the past. The critics and the music industry have never really judged the band based solely on their music. Hell, you can tell by many of the reviews that these critics probably have never even listened to the music at all. They just bash the band because of its members.

Froy, who claims to love the band Styx so is now doing the EXACT same thing. Bashing the band not based on their music, but based on who is in the band and comments that some of these members have made. He is 100% blind to this fact.

Thank you, we can skip me listening to BBT, right???? Please!!

Some things I totally agree on what he's trying to say.

No, I think he's very serious when he's posting on here and how he feels. He gets very bitter about the whole thing, trust me.

Most of these posts from most people on here are for the enjoyment, that's what I think -LOL

I agree somewhat, but there are a few of us on here and that lurk that are a little deeper with our feelings than the casual or even some of the die-hard fans. These same people will never give the music or concerts a chance, no way and that's from both sides. It was hard for me to watch their concerts with an open mind, very hard. But I've been trying, don't know why, probably because of my darn Tommy Drooler friends - LOL

I am late to the conversation and did not read your review Suite, but I gotta say that it SUCKS that you didn't give the CD a fair shake because of politics. That has always been my prime problem with the Perry-only fans too. I was skeptical of Journey and Styx continuing without Perry and DDY. But I listened first. I like what Journey has done. Styx hasn't moved me as much, but I still liked them LIVE. They just needed to give it a break...(now may be too late).

When did I become a Studio Engineer???

I think someone ought to write Andrew and tell him that your first 25 posts here you should be referred to as a MUSIC CRITIC. After that you become a NEWBIE.

Yes, it IS a big deal...and it is even a bigger deal when he threatens to post names, addresses, and phone numbers. That sickens me, quite frankly. And, I am very disappointed that some here have a nonchallant attitude towards it and already want froy to come back. How can ANYONE want ot share conversation with someone who has such a lack of scruples. Go to Googlegroups and look at alt.music.journey and read what Joe says...that is what froy became, and would always have the potential to become again the next time he blows his top.

My attitude towards this forum has really changed. I doubt I'll ever post here with the same passion I once did. It's kinda like when I got kicked off of BackTalk (for no reason)...it has not been the same since.

ACK!! I can't stand the original songs that were chosen, so no matter who did these songs, I still wouldn't like them. I do still like Tommy's "Can't Find My Way Home" that's the only one.

So that's my review of BBT, sorry - LOL

You're never late - LOL These threads, keep going and going - LOL

Yes, I guess it does suck that I didn't give the CD a fair shake because of the politics, BUT, I did make up for it 2 years later and gave a pretty fair review, well for the most part. Other music groups I don't care about the politics and hardly even know what they may be.

I loved Journey with Perry and I love Journey with the other Steve, I just didn't caught up in the politics. I'm just reading up on it now and it's very interesting. I miss Perry when I see Journey now, but they still put on a super great show.

Styx hasn't moved me as much, but I still liked them LIVE. They just needed to give it a break...(now may be too late).

Just a break to the same cities or have the set list changed.

Same here, I didn't like but 2 or 3 of the orginal songs from BBT. Styx did a good job of making me like them. Give it a listen, you maybe surprised, you may not :? -ERIC

I really gotta agree with you here. The behaviour is inexcusable, yet all everyone seems to care about is how "entertaining" he can be.

I'm going to be extra nice here. The Pack is having a truly horrid season. While we have some strong defense, i know in my heart that we're having a lucky year. I'm sure next season the stars will be back in alignment for the Pack...

That's because he has no life of his own. People who have no lives whatsoever pass their time on this planet by sticking their pretentious, sanctimonious beak into other people's affairs. He's as ridiculous as Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, or any other of them self-important stooges.

yet all everyone seems to care about is how "entertaining" he can be.

He is as entertaining as netsex. How entertaining is netsex? Beats the hell out of me for I feel there's no other indication of a purely bankrupt life than being reduced to READING one's orgasm as opposed to EXPERIANCING it, and therefore I've never tried it. Perhaps Froy should -- he sure has lot of time and bandwidth to waste now! :P
