Question on Suite Madame Blue (the song, not the member)

Postby Blue Falcon » Thu Dec 08, 2005 12:11 am

When the Styxers start singing the "America" part, there are four voices, one coming in after the other. From what I can tell, DDY's voice is the third one, but who are the first two? And who is the fourth, since neither Panozzo had any singing ability?

Watch the RTP or Caught in the Act DVD or video. Chuck is one of the voices in the America portion of that song.

Not sure if his voice was used on the original Equinox recording. They used multiple layers of voices for songs on that album. I think Dennis said it was something like 17 tracks for Lorelei.

Congratulations! You're still the same.

I believe John Curelewski was first, JY was fourth. Not sure who's on second...wait a minute you laid an Abbott and Costello trap and I fell right in. Doh! :D

If you look at the credits in Equinox, every one is credited as singers.
So maybe the question is,who did not sing 'America'.
Ability :?:

Blue Falcon, I was so excited to read this and it really wasn't for me -

Great question Blue Falcon :)

On the live Toronto 1976 boot, I thought the second one was Tommy, no? I'll have to listen to it again with headphones.

Bugsy's right with the original recording and the mulitple (huh huh) layers that was used.

I thought Chuck was on a couple of songs.

I'll have to add this one to the list of more questions I have going again :)
