Me.

I am recording a Journey song tomorrow. I get to do one song, and have been practicing, Beyond the Clouds. Now THIS is definately a Board buster, to get something to talk about. I WILL post a link to hear it, once it's done.

It will be done in studio, with all the production I desire. I get to produce it too. I expect it will be up for your listening "pleasure" in a week.

We shall see just how much the studio can do for you.

If this takes off, I will invite Mr. Perry in for backup help  , and maybe Nora for some humming, as I power over her....

Seriously, I will put myself out there to be laughed at, if it creates some conversation.

I really don't much give a damn anylonger about much anything, so I am living life to the fullest, trying anything once..well, not everything..No dudes, so back away from the "post reply button." No gay jokes.
I know HOTTSIE thinks I'm gay. I would love to be with her for one night just to show her how gay I really am

Brilliant idea, man. I had always entertained the idea of a board-wide sing off. A competition between all of us (NIG, Red, Eric etc) where we all do a cover of one Journey song and see who can pull it off the best (or the least ear splittingly). "Beyond the Clouds" is done partially in Augeri's lower range, but it's still challenging. Can't wait to hear this. While ur at it, do some other renditions please. Didn't you once tell me you could easily smoke Augeri's warbly ass on "Ask the Lonely"?
Would love to hear it.

I could smoke Augeri on any damned song...

ESPECIALLY Ask the lonely.

I might be the only singer who requires 6 vicodin one hour prior to going on.....I'm telling you, it works for me..

I am humble enough to be laughed at...at least I have balls.

Ok, I was contemplating posting the following, but with Deano's post, I see no need to hesitate now.... My brother just recorded a cover of "Separate Ways" in his home studio w/Pro - Tools It's all him. It's rough, and demo'ish - check it out if you have a sec (or 5:32 to be exact :-)

http://www.stormedheaven.com/sound/sw.zip

If anyone is willing and able to lay down a vocal track, please let me know. We'd be way interested.

Deano - looking forward to yours.

cheers

- Brandon

Wow, Deano, you gotta give us some axe while you're at it. We need to hear you do your best Neal Schon.

I recently found a tape of me singing Send Her My Love when I was about 16. I was pleasantly surprised!

He's turned on Augeri like a junkyard dog. I don't get it one bit, from formerly one of Mr A's biggest fans and supporters.

Hey, 13, ace, anyone else, that's fine. You all can label me a drunk, a pill popper, whatever. Fact is I don't do drugs, except for the pain meds required for the broken hand, and so what, I drink beer. Guess that makes me delusional.

Thanks for the outright friendship 13 and ace. I am sure others will soon be denouncing me as well. It's all me, no one else right?

Hockey Night in Canada AWESOME!!!!, Are you a Canuck???

I grew up in Minnesota. I played hockey through high school. Growing up we would travel up to Thunder Bay to play sometimes.

We had North Star and Fighting Saint season tickets.

Loved the old WHA, too bad it folded?? Remember the names Jude Drouin, and Mike Antonovich?? Those were my to favorites. I was there when Mike Forbes almost put out Henry Bouche's eye.

Hardest slapshot I ever witnessed was Derek Sandersons. We were sitting behind the net one night when the Stars were playing the Bruins. That shot hit the top of the glass. Luckey for us or someone in my family might of got killed!! Talk about a ROCKET!!!!!

How about the no mask goalies??? How damn stupid was that???? Shots get tipped every which way 30 + times a game. I bet I saw Gump Worsely get hit in the chops 25 times. The old Gumper would get stiched up and be back the next game.

If he is still alive, I wonder how many marbles hes got rolling around up stairs.

Anyway good luck with your record!!!!

Born and raised Vancouver, BC.

I have a Minny N Star Green jersey.

Remember the WHA? Gretzky came from there, Edmonton. Cimncinnati Stingers, Edmonton, Winnipeg..Sure I remember.

I know who Sanderson is....He could let it fly. I still think Al McGinness of StL is the hardest I have ever seen...commonly over 100mph..same with Modin...The fastest I ever shot it was 88mph, when I played for Spokane of the WHL. We went to the Memorial Cup and beat a Toronto club from the QJMHL...

Yeah, definately. Remember Gary Cheevers, from Boston, who used to draw "stitches" where he would have gotten hit?

If he is still alive, I wonder how many marbles hes got rolling around up stairs.

I believe he is still alive. Yogi, Hockey players for the most part are intelligent. IMO< more intelligent than other sports athletes.

Ok honest guy answer a few questions for us then.

1: Did this post mean to imply that you traveled to see HH?

2: Are you undergoing chemo for cancer?
3: Why the sudden change of heart about SA and Journey and why are you all over the board about this?
