I've just never been a big fan of REO.

All of Styx's music is good. Yes they have their hits but EVEY song on their albums is very pleasing to listen to.

I don't really have anything against REO but I think they only have a ffew good songs.

I like REO... my wife is IN LOVE with REO.... and I admit when I saw REO with Styx 5.0 I thought REO wiped the stage with them. The just flat out-rocked Styx - which I didn't expect.

All my bias aside (or as best I can), I still found Styx stage gimmick a bit cheezy... spinning keyboards, lame coreography.... if they wanted to be a rock band why not just stand there and ROCK the house. You don't have to spin, or run, or dance or anything else just to rock it.

I thought REO sounded better and put on a better rock show. That is, however, my opinion.

Whoa guys lets revisit history. JY during the filming of BTM came up with the famous hockey on the river STYX about Dennis rejoining the band, and Tommy was quoted in an interview as saying "the truth is Dennis is no longer in STYX". Both were well before the lawsuit was filed. Dennis said he tried for over a year to talk to the members of the band (JY and Tommy), but the only way to communicate with them was through their lawyers, they refused direct contact with him. I would say the lawsuit was a last act to try and regain something he felt he had a stake in. If you felt like you were fired unjustly by people who were not truly in on the ground floor of something you started (JY and Tommy were not there), what would you do?

Wow I'm surprised at that, but to each their own...
I absolutely love the choreography on stage, I couldn't call it cheesey they look good they move good, they play great, they love what their doing and you can see it, I love how they use the whole stage then end up in the middle together in unison, so friggen cool, they get the audience rockin.....thought the concert was great....and although DDY is different...I feel the same about his concerts.

It only makes sense that they tour with Night Ranger. Ted???? Tommy and Jack could do a 30 minute set followed by 90 minutes each of Night Ranger and Styx.

LOL!!! I like REO, but I can't see them in concert with all of Kevin's talking. I couldn't stand it this last time, no more. Hopefully the 2006 tour will be a lot less talking and more rocking. Especially if they're touring with another band.

Jack wants it to happen, Ted wants it to happen, Tommy wants it to happen. I would think Space Ace is totally right on this one.
