LOL, thanks SpaceAce, you know I can't do much thinking/posting in the middle of the night

Here's the article:

I just read that detailed review Suite, and I just couldnt believe what I read.

Let the music speak foir itselfe.

Why call Dennis a Mozart look a likeie?? If the guy who wrote this articiele has something against Dennis then why should he be the one chosen to reviewe the conciert?

Calling Dennis a puise because he brings his family to all of his shows was uncalled for and crosses the line.

I hope the rest of his shows north of the border garner better reviewies!!

OK, the translation....

Monday January 30, 2006 Saturday evening, in the Place of Arts, Dennis DeYoung held to its fans a voyage in time impresses energy, in the purest tradition rock'n'roll. Admittedly, the American clavierist, who will be 59 years old the next month, has the white hair now. But its voice did not lose anything of its richness. Photo Bernard Brault, The Press Dennis DeYoung: energy and tradition rock'n'roll Danielle Bonneau The Press Accompanied by a symphony orchestra of 25 musicians, Dennis DeYoung held to its fans a voyage in time impresses energy, in the purest tradition rock'n'roll, Saturday evening, in the Place of Arts. Of entry of play, it promised to heat the room Wilfrid-Furrier to counter the cold outside. It held word. The spectators, who posted for the majority forty and around fifty, had moved to hear the hits Styx group composed by Dennis DeYoung in the Seventies and Eighties. Hits like Continuation Mrs Blue, Lady, Babe, Come Sail Away, Large Illusion and Mr. Roboto, which marked their youth. They more than were been useful. Admittedly, the American clavierist, who will be 59 years old the next month, has the white hair now. But its voice did not lose anything of its richness. It occurred on scene with an obvious, happy pleasure to join again with its fans montréalais. It presented an ambitious spectacle, surrounded of the four musicians of its group and of 25 musicians montréalais of first order who were called for the occasion "The Slap- shot Orchestra". Some, like the double bass player, gave the impression really to have fun! Under the direction of Arnie Roth, which carried out the orchestration of the musical parts, the musicians brought a new dimension to the songs, without never diluting them or decreasing the impact by it. On the contrary. Difficult to believe that it acted of their first service with the American formation. The songs like Babe, Lorelei, Best of Times and Castle Walls lent themselves particularly well to the exercise, benefitting from the addition of coppers and the violins. The integration of the Bolero of Ravel to the Lady ballade particularly was successful. The bond between a small music of night of Mozart and Lorelei, though interesting, was on the other hand less obvious. The orchestra was fully put forward at the time of the two extracts of the musical The Hunchback of Our-injury, which Dennis DeYoung composed while taking as a starting point the work by Victor Hugo. Amick Byram, singer famous of Broadway, interpreted with brilliance ave Maria and With Every Heartbeat. Its duet with the chorus-singer Kate Miland was to be cut the soufle. But let us not mistake. It is the low one of Hank Horton, the guitar of Tommy Dziallo, the battery of Kyle Woodring, the keyboard of Giovanni Blasucci... and the voice of Dennis DeYoung which preceded. Good contact with the public Often expressing itself in French enters the songs and showing a great direction of humour, the composer-songwriter established a true contact with the public. Even his/her partner of every moment, Suzanne, which it married 36 years ago, made a valiant effort to thank in French the public montréalais for her support. Continuation Mrs Blue, impatiently waited by a fan who launched a primal "YÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉ" by hearing the first notes, was one of the nails of the evening. Thanks to a technical problem, the spectators had right to two versions of the masterly finale of the song: the first without the guitar of Tommy Dziallo and the second with all the necessary power. Then Dennis DeYoung invited its fans to sing with him Come Sail Away, which was to close the spectacle. Those were carried out with enthusiasm. To the end, whistling, shouting and applauding all to break, they led the singer to interpret a third part in recall, end alone with its keyboard. It was obviously not envisaged. A beautiful end with an extraordinary concert.

Yogi, you're TOO FUNNY!!

Thanks for the translation StyxFan NH, I had it, I was just being funny.

I would LOVE to hear "Suite Madame Blue" twice!!! Bonus

I heard that the crowd wouldn't let Dennis go after "Come Sail Away", he came back and told a story about the first time that he came to Quebec and how it was so special then as it is now and then he went into a solo of "First Time", just Dennis and his keyboard. People were crying, which I'm sure that I would've been one of those people.
