Oddball Journey/Perry item on display

I've seen this thing for years in Pismo Beach, where me and the fam vacation each year. It's in a newsstand store called Esquire News, kinda near the pier if anyone's ever been to Pismo.

There's a big framed gold record CD presentation deal, looks to date from around Time3, presented to the store's owners from Steve Perry...as thanks for something to do with hanging out there as a kid.

Being the bashful sort I've never asked the store's owners what the backstory is on it. But if you find yourself in Pismo, go check it out.

The name of the store is Esquire News. Head to Harry's Bar and keep going down that sidestreet a few blocks. Can't miss it.

No problem. I will flip some of the new Generations garbage at em and when they reach down to pick it up, the wall hanging is going in my Pathfinder. :lol:
